I did find a bug where it was not counting the Elegant Armor, but was instead counting Elaborate armor twice :/ so it will pore properly balance soon.
Unfortunately this fix did not make the patch, so will be in the next one.
The stats above with addition of some mod2s would be quite nice for charm with elegant armor, but not sure it would be worth the components and effort with lower ac/hp/mana/end or without some mod2s.

The stats for elegant should not fall below the stats above. It is essential to ensure that with this expansion the cultural charms are in line with the rest of the armour so people will wear them. For all the other earlier lines of cultural, the charm was so weak it was worthless and never worn by anyone - which was a shame. Please ensure this does not happen this time around.Telorea

So is the above screenshot for your own toon wearing 7 elegant armor pieces and the boots either elaborate or non-cultural? If those are the stats with 7 pieces then 8 pieces should be closer to 340. However, thats the melee version and shows less END than HP.
The previous screenshot (of bugged charm with elaborate) showed 2-3 ratio of HP/Mana, meaning that the above charm for a caster may be 200hp/300 mana. I certain hope thats not the case, but cant check since I'm at break on work. Has anyone checked caster stats for full elegant?

I'm wearing full elegant/sublime. I am still a bit disappointed with this I was wrong on the oilcan since it maxes at 455 unaugged. This one is also 9 ac shy of artisan charm though it does offer some very common mods.
The elaborate was doubling according to Ngreth so it was overpowered. Seriously risk vs reward this charm needs a little beefing imo, not much. It needs to be abit closer to oilcan, which augged with wayfarers tops at 555hp and 30 ac i think.
augged and full elegant/sublime.. I think it should be able to achieve at least 50ac or 550 hp when compared to artisan which maxes at 52 ac and 400hp and is two expansions old. I don't wear arms yet so my actual stats are a bit less. If you compare 1 ac=5hp for monk it's a toss up. Granted the SoF quest charm aug is better than wanderlust too.
I'm thinking 10 ac and/or no more than 100 hp or a combination would make this charm more inline with current gears. No way is everyone going to have this charm or get full utility out of it anytime in the near future.Last edited by souljahha; 12-13-2007, 04:41 AM.

I convinced Merloc to allow me to update the stats too late to make this patch, so only the mod changes went in. I have the changes in stats all prepared to paste in on Friday, and it should make it in the next patch, which I expect in January (not guarantee as that is a guess at this point)Ngreth Thergn

If it's pumped to just a little bit better than the Artisan... I'll go for it for those toons on which I'll be using cultural. I don't think that my named main will actually wear *full* cultural, so the Artisan will actually be better for him.Thomen Feadannareil (85 HUM ENC)

Any word on when the improved stats for elegant charms will go in?
I see that the next game update is Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 4am PST with 8 hours downtime. Someone started a rumor (not me!!) that this was the date that the last blood nerf and some other cultural changes go in...can you confirm?

Not changes to Last blood and such. The changes to the charms should be in though if they were not in before. The changes were not huge, but it is an increase.Ngreth Thergn

Thanks, Ngreth. I'm looking forward to seeing the new charm stats. I was planning on using one of these until I saw the AC on the barbarian warrior one is a full 10ac below a T1 SoF attuneable charm (Orrel's Blood Bauble).
Also good to know no changes to the LB this patch. Is there any kind of a heads-up about the eta or direction of the changes to elegant/sublime/exalted/elaborate/etc? I won't even ask about the LB, as I fear the answer.
I'm particularly interested in whether the plan to put in an exalted-level set of armor (rec. 74/75) is still going to happen, as I have been saving alkalai/superb/flawless to be able to get some of this stuff made rather than symbols. It would be a huge boon to patch between the elaborate and the elegant.
Thanks very much.
