Took us about 6-7 hours of farming to get it all. (71 Bst, 70 Clr)

Remember, given probabilities, it is possible to kill 100 mobs in a row and not get the drop you want unless it is 100 percent certain to drop.

I'll give you a good spot for the wasp spider silk part though -
Go into the zone, turn right, enter first cave you see. Inside, turn left, find an NPC sitting down inside a room with 2 spiders in it. This NPC gives you a TASK to help her escape from the spiders (the NPC is at 11% health when you first target).
In that room are 2 ground spawns. Pick up 1 of each. Hand to NPC, which raises her hp some, but also spawns a wave of "assassin spiders".
I solo'd (71 mage) the entire task. Spiders con light blue. Make sure to kill the 2 normal spawns first or you will have 4!
Hand in food/drink, 2 assassin spiders spawn.
Hand in food/drink, 2 assassin spiders spawn.
Hand in food/drink, 3 assassin spiders spawn.
Hand in food/drink, 2 mature assassin spiders spawn.
Hand in food/drink, 2 mature assassin spiders spawn.
Hand in food/drink, 1 assassin Queen spider spawns.
NPC says thank you. You get a 100hp/mana item for loot. During this task, I looted FOUR of the silk you need for Artisan Charm.Last edited by Zacatac; 10-02-2006, 09:40 PM.

"1 Vergalid Clay ( a quarry slave - Sunderrock Springs )"
Having a little trouble with this one. Only found one single pull quarry slave and splitting is impossible that I can see. Does the Vergalid Clay drop off something else, or can somebody suggest more hunt spots?

I had the same problem, since I am a wizard. I just killed the two nearby animal mobs (basilisk, snake, or drake) to kill the time waiting for the quarry slave to respawn, as well as the occasional rockhauler/rockbreaker slave as time and mana permitted. (I have gotten 3 medicinal moss from them too). I have gotten two clays from there, which have been on target with the projected drop rate of 1 in 7. Too bad I failed the unfired charm combine the first time. But I now have my second clay, and I can't fail again.
In short, it's not impossible, albeit a slow process, which would be much easier with crowd control or a group.Laurrill Nimgulas

There is a cave just NW of the mines where there are 3 slaves and an orc. The orc paths so that you can get him solo with ease, and the third goblin is far enough away from the other two that you can kill it without aggro. If you could then somehow split the remaining two the first time you could keep them split until you got the drops you neededDyllwin Dalewalker

Well I picked up my final pieces last night. The silver, basilisk scale, and then off to PoI for golden ember powder. Ran around vendors until I found the 4 gems needed, then down to Thurgadin for velium and the combines.
Happy owner of the Artisan Charm now.
(I really didn't want to go gather all that up again!)
For me, it took awhile -
1 Leopard Intestines - 3 hours solo
1 Steppes Reptile Meat - 1 hour solo
1 Wasp Spider Silk - 2 hours solo (but got 4 of them, see previous post)
1 Basilisk Scale - 15 minutes, got drop on 4th kill
1 Vergalid Clay - 2 hours with a partner
1 Stonemight Silver - 3 hours solo
1 Steppes Ore - 2 hours solo
1 Golden Ember Powder - 10-15 minutes to run to PoI and kill 3 mobs at zone in.Last edited by Zacatac; 10-10-2006, 06:47 PM.

My guild's jaw dropped when I told them the stats on the charm after I made it last night. lol, at the time I only had my LDoN Aug to put in it (mostly due to the fact that it was better than Slipgear, so I never got SG).
Followed by a bet in Guildchat that I couldn't do Slipgear without the rogue shroud and even then I would probably die... Won that bet, as a paladin, without even agro'ing a single mob through the five zones.
