If that was unclear...Audra Deepfacet (the "normal" JC vendor) and Noirin Khalen (the Erudite outside and a little ways off, the one who you used to get the imbues from) give you different JC books.

If you use a Emblem of Nightmare in place of the diamond the combine works.

Ie:
1 Lock of Banshee Hair (The type you can drop)
1 Ivory Skull
2 Midnight Stones
1 Emblem of Nightmares.


I've just made two of Helm's but sadly they dont show up when worn, which is rather a shame.

Congratulations on figuring it out! It seems to me that the focus effect is just a bug, and it should really be mana preservation IV. Other than that, the stats don't seem half bad for a tier 1 item.

No, it should be Mana Pres. IV...

Why? Because all the other Pottery & Jewelcraft items with Focus Effects have had level 4 focus effects on them.

It's called "Getting level 4 focus effects into the hands of people who might not otherwise get them."

You're not going to get such a fantastic focus effect off a first tier item, even if it didn't have any other stats.

Mana Preservation IV will likely be the effect on the Ceramic Water Sprinkler of Marr, from the way the other two elemental pottery items came out (Spell Haste IV and Improved Healing IV).

It's on the PoP pottery page. It hasn't been made yet, but I'm guessing the missing two effects are Mana Preservation IV and Improved Damage IV, and damage seems better suited to the Fire item.

Water sprinkler of marr would probably have healing iv... water sprinkler sounds rather clericy=)
