There was no precedent for vendor spells being no-drop and I had no reason to suspect what was about to happen.

Granted the PoP spells are no drop. This was to prevent people who didn't buy the expansion to have access to some of its benefits. Understandble, annoying but understandable.

But these new spells are sold in East Commons. Everyone has access to East Commons. So the question is, is there a precedent for spells sold in the old world to be no drop? Was it even intended for these to be no drop or was it yet another bug in a buggy patch?

Grats to those who scribed the spells; many of us would have done the same given the opportunity.

But it's obviously not fair. It's not hard to fix, it's just one single flag to check for. It's not a trivial issue, Sony killed off the new vendors right after the servers came up, and this thread is 5 pages long already.

People who try to justify the disparity are offensive. Stop it.
