I've lost 2 files, 2 deluxe toolboxes full of varying sizes of ore, a few stacks of misty picnics and prolly a couple other random items I don't recall in the past week in bazaar. The mistys and ores I lost while transferring them. They show on my screen, don't show on the other screen. With the ore, both boxes just disappeared. With the banker issue, I hit done on the banker, lock up, crash, come back and something is missing. I have /bugged, /feedbacked and /petitioned every time and not even 1 word from a guide (I don't bother trying to get past a guide to a GM unless its something expensive). The bazaar is crashing at least once a day and my trader hasn't managed to stay on overnite in at least 2 weeks...but I get to farm the bazaar vendors daily (always an up side heh).

I also have had several instances of losing items when taking them from the bank while in the bazaar. Now I go to PoK to get the stuff. Its a pain, but safer till they get it fixed. Also the other night I lost a Star Ruby Encrusted Stein while passing it to my trader. Had 8 in the trade window and only 7 traded. Since then I have read this post, and since my Trader is 1205 / 80 on weight I can't take her out of the Bazaar, so I am just transferring one item at a time and have not lost anything else. If you are having trouble losing things while trading try to do it that way. 8)Galathner 54 Wizard

Well fyi for anyone that wants to move a trader out of the baz. Smack them with a sow and they will be able to move.... mind you that it will take 2 1/2 weeks to move 5 feet :P but you can move them.
I myself, when making medium quality folded sheets, have had more then 1500lbs on my character and still been able to get a round.Travel paths least taken,

I made all of my mules casters, and got them high enough to use Gate, so if I have to transfer a lot of stuff, I port them out of the bazaar with my item transfer druid, move stuff around, and then gate them back to the bazaar. I know it's probably not too efficient, but it makes sure I don't have any issues! =)Originally posted by GalathnorSince then I have read this post, and since my Trader is 1205 / 80 on weight I can't take her out of the Bazaar, so I am just transferring one item at a time and have not lost anything else.Code Monkey for Allakhazam.com

Happened to a friend and I the other day.
He traded me a backpack full of formula 5000 and a ralic pack with all but 1 of the items needed for the solstice earring quest.
He logged out, logged back in with the new char. I dropped both packs in the trader windows.
Poof
He only got the pack with the 5000.
Talk about pain.
Still no word from the GM on this matter.

Glad I've been away . . .
I've been traveling since the 17th (only have web access no EQOriginally posted by pabon purecasterI had a simular problem the other day. I dinged 60 on my cleric and i was in the baz meming my new Ageo spell when it finished meming the spell stayed on the cursor but it would not go into the book so i tired again and i could not click on anything not even open the bank door. I had to zone out of the baz to have it rescribe into my book.

) and looks like I've been missing all the fun and games of hang over problems from prior patches that were not fixed by the patch right before I left or the new one just the other day! :P
Before I left I too had the scribing spell problem noted above on my enchanter alt when he hit 49 - unable to scribe in bazaar some of the spells I had researched in advance which were waiting in the bank. Later had the disappearing item on transfer trick happen - - - Mine was from a mule on another account to my trader mule on my main account. I was actually running 2 sessions in separate windows on the same computer so I assumed it had something to do with that . . . I now see it is more widespread so was probably the same problem and not due to my mutli-sessions.
Well I guess I'll work on leveling my toons for a while and skip the tradeskilling (other than gathering components) until this @%$#% blows over. Won't be back online until the 26th so with any luck it will only be half as screwed up by then! :!: Good luck folks

I also had the same problem in bazaar breaking down bricks and blocks of velium into pieces. I also lost my T-staff when I was moving stuff around in the bank. I did detailed /bug and /petition and never had a reply for 3 days. A fellow guild member suggested to send an e-mail to the server GM via the Everquest webpage, which I did. I received an e-mail back a couple of days later advising my T-staff has been replaced
But due to them not being able to verify the DNC bug I never received a smithing chisel or velium back.
It was nice to get my T-staff back as I was dreading it being lost forever, but what concerns me is that they are unable to verify any items lost or anything happening with the DNC bug. I hope nobody loses anything too valuable.

It's amazing how paranoid they are about replacing any items, regardless of its value. I understand that they don't want players getting items they don't deserve but a smithing chisel? Is it truly better to annoy and deny 99 players a chance to have legitimately lost items restored as opposed to giving that 1 convincing liar a minor item?Originally posted by AlkeeI also had the same problem in bazaar breaking down bricks and blocks of velium into pieces. So a GM says the zone isn't stable and is laggy. But SoE says there is nothing wrong. Hmmm. Isn't that like a double standard?Originally posted by Nihixul...." as in general those zones are less laggy and more stable.
Actually, there is a much easier and less time consuming way to force a save. Find an NPC. Guard, vendor, whomever. Give them 1 (one) copper piece. Within a second, you will see the "so-and-so saved" message pop up.I think this is reasonable advice, although I admit it's annoying that this is the way things are. Of course, if you fail several combines you can just hope for a zone crash.
The moral of the story is that after succeeding a high level combine that you care about, the best bet is to camp out and come back. (I wonder, though, whether zoning wouldn't be enough. Doesn't zoning automatically save your character? That certainly seems to be an easier solution.)
This has worked for me, for every character, for every rollback there has been on my server.

Lost item
Xev server doing MQ Folded Sheets. several stacks of good combines, then a DNC, linkdeath. Relogon. More successful sheets, DNC, LD, reloggon, my Smithy Hammer was gone.
I've felt the bug... Glad it was something cheap this time.

I have lost around 300k in items and plat to the zone bugs/zone crashes. You would think that they could look at your last save and see what all you had on you and look at the person you were doing a trade with and see what they had at last save and then compare what both people had on them/banked after the crash or whatever. Same for losing stuff in ovens and what not.......last save: person x had these items, now they don't, there is no destroy or sold messages then yah they are telling the truth. /shrug I hate this game sometimes.... anyway
....I can't make ethreal temper or curing agents i get the DNC message. I have the recipe right. My question is, on the recipes page it says that they can be combined by a person with 220 modified skill. I have 226 modified skill. Now, is that the weird bug that tradeskillers are getting or when they nerfed the Aid Grimel % mods did they do that for ALL recipes that require a specific skill level to combine?

Thankfully, I haven't had any of the issues with DNC's or losing Tradeskill items .. (mostly cause I'm too broke to try anything hehe) ..
However, I HAVE had the same issue that a couple people mentioned about crashing when they've left their mule in the Bazaar selling stuff .. one way I've managed to stop that from happening is using the /safelock command. It just locks your keyboard, using a password of your choice .. but for whatever reason, it works =)

1. I got the lovely DNC message after successfully making two othmir caps...not in the Coldain Tanner Kit, but in the Planar one. lol Just as I noticed the container error, I poofed to server select.
2. Stopped to purchase 2 vials of purified mana. When I clicked the BUY button, the transaction message was: You give baz_vender 129989893455678 pp. (cant remember actual numbers, but it was more pp than I've ever seen) and then all the pp gp sp AND cp disappeared from my inventory. Like enchanters don't already gouge enough for mana vials. :P
3. I attempted to trade 2 artisan's seals to one of my chars on another account. Both seals were visible on both character's screen...but only one artisan's seal made it to the second account. We were not and still are not amused.
