Something that has always kind of made me nuts is when things drop in zones that are way over the head of where they are useful. For example, in LDoN missions where you are all level 65 and the mission is hard, the boss drops an item recommended for level 50.
What I would like to see more of is tradeskill items that drop and can be used to create items (particularly weapons) that are useful for the level intended (Velium Gemmed long swords are good for a level 50 guy, but are not usable by one) and where the parts drop in appropriate zones. Parchments for level 61 spells dropping in Demi-Plane are kind of an insult. This means that the drops in high end zones are intended for alts or for sale, and I do not think that was the intent of trade skills.
This may not be an issue that falls under Ngreth's domain, but I would hope he would at least have some input.
I am in favor of tradeskill items being some of the best in the game, and I would hope that would apply to all levels of play.
I would like to see tradeskillable augs (not just slot and otherwise limited OoW augs, where the drops to make them into something are incredibly rare) so that focus effects could be upgraded to match levels, and bonuses like avoidance and shielding could be put on augs, as well as some new and interesting combat procs. Somehow I see this as a way for pottery to become a premier skill again (TSS has helped this a lot)
I would like tomes for melee to be researchable, perhaps if only by melee classes.
I would like magic items, particularly crafted ones, to be able to be broken down with a chance that this will result in recovering one or more of their base components.
I would like to see a legitimate skill up path for fletching and for tailoring.
I would like to see cultural items expanded to include shoulder, back, face, neck, waist and jewelry items, and maybe even weapons.
I would like to see a quest/combine item like the artisan charm for the range slot, where the final result would be more suited to a specific class.
I would like to see special containers that allow items in them to be clicked as if they are worn.
I would like to see bards nerfed. (Not really a tradeskill item, but lets face it, they need it).
