You can't "unscribe" a spell. In order for someone to sell omens spells they'd have to have NEVER scribed it.

You can delete a spell from your book. If the game checks your spellbook, inventory, and bank slots and doesn't find it, then maybe it would give you another.Originally posted by Qaladar BragollachYou can't "unscribe" a spell. That's not how it works. You don't need to scribe the spell, just receive it. If you hand in two runes at once you will get two different spells, not the same one twice.Originally posted by Qaladar Bragollach69-70 spells are not dropped though. They result from a quest hand in. And once you've scribed a spell from the handin, you can't get anymore.
So barring someone intentionally not scribing some of their spells so that they can continually loot runes and sell those spells, that's not an issue (of course its always possible that someone does this but it seems unlikely).
So you would only ever be able to sell one copy, and then you would never be able to use the spell yourself.
Having said that, I have seen OoW spells for sale on FV server, but I guess that must be people who have "rerolled" and therefore no longer need them.

I'm pretty sure Ngreth commented on this. His description of how it works was that it checks your inventory, bank and spellbook to see if you have the spell anywhere, and then gives you the first one on the list you don't have. From that description, it sounds like you could keep getting the same one over and over if you sold it, or moved it to a mule, first.Originally posted by miakissThat's not how it works. My guess, though, is that it will be easier to farm the materials to craft the spell than it would be to go through the hassle of not scribing a spell and then farming runes. Also, keep in mind, that the more in demand a spell is, the more the seller is sacrificing by not memorizing it.

As a necro I will gladly sacrifice not selling necro 66-70 spells to sell all other classes.
One a side note, almost all of those spells are upgraded in this expansion, so theres no reason i couldnt wipe out several Necro oow spells so that I could sell them. And obviously at anytime I could remake myself a copy of the spell.
So outside of you own class there are no issues. with DoD research I make almost 80% of my money on spells for clr/dru/sham/pal/sk and maybe 20% on int caster spells. Im sure OoW will be the same way.Brantes Bonetinkerer

Foraging Machete suggestion
When this happens, perhaps consider changing the useable classes on the Foraging Machete to All. Currently, it's RNG, DRU, BRD.Originally posted by Ngreth ThergnYeah.
We figured putting in an AA that just plain did not work for a majority of the intended audience for the AA was just not a good Idea!
It would have worked great for anyone that already had foraging, but failed utterly for those that have no foraging at all currently.
So when we get it fixed we will consider when to put it in.
