I just read on the EQLive website that there are abunch of new tradeskill vendors in PoK. Many of them are selling rare, hard to get items used for skilling up. The speculation is that the Beta version of PoK was somehow patched to the live servers. Or, is this working as intended?

Vendors were gone just about the time I got to PoK but I heard people talking about it. I got to wave to Ngreth himself just before he poofed.

If they want to keep any integrity to the game, they can't let this remain.

But then who know, with what they've done to the game rescently with MM's.

Considering they are just killing vendors, then repoping zones, I don't expect a roll back.

One guy in pok bragging he went from 80 to 200 tailoring on trophies (1p for seal, under 1p for needle)

Kytherea just posted recently that a rollback isn't an option right now.

I can't imagine something more destructive to tradeskillers than the free acquisition of rare drops, skill points and high triv products.

Well if I get home tonight and find 900 metallic drake scales for sale in the bazaar, I'll know where they came from.

I have over 60 tradeskill made items for sale in the bazaar. Items which I paid 1,000s of plat to make. By next week, I'll probably have to deal with the people who took advantage of a bug and can make the same item for under 10% of the cost undercutting me and driving down prices, making my inventory worthless unless I sell it at a loss.

I'm quite bothered by this. This is like a massive stock market crash! Prices are going to hit rock bottom thanks to a BUG that they let in, and now can't fix.

Were there metallic drake scales? My GF called me frantically telling me of what happened (she's staying home today).

I'm in no place to use metallic drake scales, but I could sure use what they help to make and would like to know if I should keep my eyes open for some GM armor.

The Beta Tradeskill Vendors and the Beta AA vendors were both patched to pok on live servers. Personally if there is no roll back I may be done with tradeskilling. I worked extremely hard in order to get my skill where it is and due to looking for combines that I can either farm the ingredients for exp or take a minimal number of "greenie" drops it has been slow going at times.

Yes, this slow movement is by choice as there are the various options out there to get it up faster by farming a bunch of green mobs, but still that means spending hundereds of hours farming again.

If SoE doesn't rollback there isn't any point to working hard to compete with all the people who just did this in a matter of a day.

There will need to be a 100% solution to this if roll backs are not possible. That will be hard considering people who have used up items in combines already for skill-ups, people who trade around, people who try to launder items via the /buyer or /bazaar, people who were legitimately setup as a buyer to buy large quantities of stuff on whom items were dumped, etc, people who use them to make items and sell the for much lower than current cost, hurting legitimate pc vendors. Not to mention the AA vendor, but that seems a lot easier to track. I do not know if items in the game receive unique serial numbers or not.

It is sad that roll backs are not possible as it seems to be a very simple way to fix a tremendously huge and increasingly difficult mess to clean up as time goes on.

If the solution is not satisfactory, I will be taking some time off indefinitely.

I would very much like to see the plan for how the dev team will repair these problems. I will not be playing until I see something positive.

The integrity of EQ is at stake. If it is not fixed to our satisfaction, what faith will we have when future mistakes happen?
