Thats going to be a fine line to walk. Err, no, its not - its going to be a very blurry line, and no matter where they put the difficulty at, its not going to please everyone.
One "partial" and yes, not perfect solution... is to err on the hard side, but also give exp. That way, not only do they get the AA, but some exp to make up for some of the difference.

There will be no "perfect" answer here.

True, erring on the hard side is safer .. but should be manageable at level 59, when you can get the other AA's.

Sure, some of us higher-level/better-geared gnomes may be able to handle it easier than a normal level 59 player, but that should just be a perk, imo, and not a reason to make it un-attainable for everyone.

Glad to see Ngreth cruising this. Makes my little "light of hope" (tinkered, of course) glow a little brighter.

I want to be able to smith/tailor/tinker containers for my bank that have unique looks (well, I mean using the existing container styles). I don't care about the WR, nor the weight of the container, but I would like more options for 10 slot, GIANT capacity containers.

I really should be able to smith a few different styles of strong boxes for my bank.

        - Metal box look
        - Large wooden box look
        - Small wooden box look
        - Driftwood treasure chest look
        - I'm sure there are others

All in 10 slot, GIANT capacity variants.

An idea for new future expansion combines would be using parallel skill checks instead of serial skill checks on subcombines to make an item. What do I mean? It is sorta like prismatic resists. Basically, a combine skill check would look at more than one tradeskill to see if a combine is successful. It could be implimented in a number of ways.

This would open up special markets for people with multiple tradeskills and artisans.

          Example:

Say one is making an ornate chest, and one makes the sub-parts via a JC combine and a Smithing combine. Instead of choosing one or the other skill for the final combine, both skills are checked, using either a straight average or weighted average if one skill is more important than the other.

Anyway, lots of things one can do with this, and I see it as a way to help keep namely artisans interested and occupied with new challenges, without relying on raising skill-caps or trivials.

Obviously one should only use the main 7 (or even fishing since it is available to all) tradeskills that are available to all people.

If I were to put this in the top 10, I would name it: "For the Master Artisan who has everything."

            GM DoN Idea

I'm all for adding the option of weapon combines. If you create Grandmaster armor and get the proper augmentations for it you will get an end result better than anguish quest armor. Put something on par with that or slightly below it. Hell add more weapon recipies to the game in general. Alot of player made armor exists, but player made weapons? The ones available are laughable. This definitely should fit into my top ten

            Metal Weapons Smithing
            Wooden Weapons Fletching

I'd also like more player made augments to be added to the game. Omens and DoN just don't cover enough of the gambit that's avaialable
            70 Nemesis and Infiltrator
            Master Poison Maker
            Expert Jeweler
            Expert Fletcher
            Expert Brewer
            Expert Smith

2 things I would like to see on the list.

              1:
cultural combines for diffrent races are just to big. As a Half-Elf I can't possible have master armor as a alternative skillup route, due to my drops are so much more rare then for other races. Either lower the drop rate for them, or get ours higher/drop from more monsters.

              2:
Fletching!!!! Give me a decent route up to 300!
              Grants The Victorious
              Lord
              Master Artisan
              Yaella Lonn
              Exarch
              Zend Lonn
              Magician
              Tinkering 300 Spell Reserach 300

Already in the works. It is also covered by item #5 on the list.

And Ngreth has already said that both of those problems (and others) will be addressed as soon as he has time free after expansion-work.

Just a matter of waiting ... and waiting ... and waiting ...
