Can anyone tell me if there are any single groupable ways to get shadowmane pelts? The only post I've seen on the subject references drops from a raid instanced zone, and I'm not in a raiding guild. Unfortunately, the item doesn't list where it drops in the EQ Traders data base. If it's as simple as camp XXX mob in the SE part of YYY zone, that would help too. This drop is my current barrier to completing the AAAA device. Thanks!

shadowmane pelts can be farmed in the western circle of stoneroot falls, along the sw wall. there are 2 decent non-agro camps, one better than the other. my experience has been 8 pelts in 11 hours.

I've also seen Shadowmane pelts drop from the shadowmane mobs in Dreadspire Keep, provided you have your key.

any shadowmane type mob in the game has a chance to drop them, but the easyer camp is in stone root falls on the west circle due north in that circle. you have "elder shadowmane ___________" which are lv 68 ish mobs that have a rather good cance to drop the pelts and there are a few named there for a grp. on the southern part on the west circle you have "shadowmane _______" theses are lv 66 to 67. In this part of the circle you have plenty of room to kite with any style that you can come up with (this is partaly due to some rather piss poor pathing on the little conner area neer the non-kos shadowmane mobs)

With regards to instances that drop mechanotablets. If you check out the DoD Resist Clickie Quest
The first arc of quests from Bellfast include 2 instances off of Corathus Creep. The 1st one has many clockworks to kill but not much else. The 2nd one is the 5th mission of the arc and not actually needed for the resist clickie so maybe many people ignore it, however this mission is full to the brim of high conning Creep Reapers and I found the Mechanotablets to drop like candy from them.

The second mission for the 1st arc is an instance in Stoneroot. Mostly undead but there where a few shadowmane mobs and I actaully got 3 pelts from the 6 or 7 shadowmane mobs we had to kill to update my 'poxysmit's precipitous parts' quest.

Quick question regarding this 'Parts For Bellfast' quest. I'm 2 Witheran Pearls, a few shadowmane fangs & claws and all the gargoyle bits short of completing this. I feel I want to finish it just for the sake of completeness but reading the odd bit here and there it seems that its unnecessary since we know the recipies now. Is there any real point in me trying to finish this?

there is no point finishing beyond getting the book required for HP subcombines and for the research combines if applicable

Thanks for the directions! Took a group there this weekend, and got 3 shadowmane pelts after about 90 min. Now am the proud owner of a AAAA token. Just waiting on my husband to find creap reapers not perma-camped so he can do Belfast's quest, and make the piece I need for the holepoker.

Chronal Stone - no idea. I kinda remember Ngreth saying it's not in game.

Discordant Stone - Korlach the Deep Leviathan.. or something like that? 5th mission (raid) in Widdlethorpe arc in Stoneroot Falls.. or something like that.

Bazu Stone - curse raids (Matriarch Shyra, Council of the Nine, Bloodeye, Emperor Drygun, Hive Quenn Sendaii) don't remember if all these drop

Last Blood - Demi-plane of Blood nameds : Zi-Thuuli the Granite Claw, Sanguimanus the Redfang, Sisters event, Hatchet the Torturer... I suspect tier 2 nameds also drop it, but the guild I'm in haven't killed any yet.

It should be returned unless there is an error on a recipie somewhere I.E. let me know if anyone ever finds one consumed.
