Personally it'd be a nice fix if they made it so after the first combine it creates a worn AAAA that becomes no drop. It can still be used for one more combine before it poofs, but it can't be traded anymore. An alternate idea is to make the no drop version be able to be repaired with like a 50k reagent. So it'll cost the same as a new one, but saves you the trouble of having to make another one.Comment

I was lucky to have made one last night (on Drinal) and am very reluctant to use it given the expense and time it took to complete. I can't see myself ever wanting to make another one. Ok, I have read thru as much info as i could find but still have one question. I am an Iksar Necromancer, and was interested in this. If I pair up with a Gnome, could I still accomplish this or is it gonna get to the point where it turns into No Drop or I need No Drop items?Comment

there are a few nodrop items that you must use to make dropable items, as a necro, you "shouldn't" have any problem gathering the stuff needed to quest for the no drop item to supply the tinker with. I would start with spell reash. right away, or try to find some one that 212+ in it. You'll also need a nodrop stone (crono, discord, bazu, last blood) that i belive are raid drops, at least the bazu drops in the DODH "blood" raids, and the last blood drop from demiplane.Originally posted by MeniousComment
