I'm trying to accumulate Misty Acorns for a skillup run, and they're proving more elusive than usual. I know I've found them before as both ground spawns and forages. So I know what they look like as ground spawns. But over the past week, I've spent somewhere from 6 to 10 hours foraging, while running around looking for spawns. (Admittedly not all of that time was running around. Some of it was me reading books waiting for the key to pop.
) I've gotten the usual handful of forages, but ZERO ground spawn acorns.
I thought maybe a post I'd seen was right, that acorns spawned during or after a rainfall, and that their absence could be due to the relatively recent introduction of seasonal weather. But the snows have ended now and it was raining earlier tonight, and still nothing.
So I'm sort of curious now. Am I just having bad luck, or have Misty Acorns stopped appearing as ground spawns?
I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has found them as ground spawns since, say, mid-June.
