The list is not in any particular order. When I add a new item, I stick it in the next available number (usually the item it's replacing.) The skill up routes (for multiple tradeskills) are listed in number 10, but really are the #1 concern of the community right now.

They made weapon break down into BARS??? I believe tradeskillers wanted bricks or pieces for smithing not bars to be used in Jewelry combines.
I checked with Ky (who followed up with Absor). Apparantly, this was a mistake in the patch message. It should have read small bricks of velium.

Are thw weapons marked TS? Because I got a few in DN going to check on Viniki and Zland and saw no tradeskill tag, even on the "regular" velium weapons.

            - Speckled Pine Fruit can now be foraged.
            - Palm Leaf can now be foraged.
            - Added a recipe to create Rainwater Dressing.
            - Added a recipe to create Spiced Heartfruit Greens.

Holy shineola... Luclin came out... when?

And it took them that long that a: shouldnt have been broken in the first place and b: should have been fixed the very next patch...

I dont miss tradeskills in EQ at ALL.

I think they should make the Augment patterns a generic pattern that is used for all slots and then you have to buy a seperate patter (vendor sold) to get it slot specific. Can use Chain patterns for smithing recipes and silk/leather patterns for tailoring versions. This would definitely save a ton of space as you'd only need one stack of the augment patterns.

They have stated why they refuse to do this, and personally I agree with them on this much atleast. The reasoning is that if you were to buy 200 patterns for chest or legs, you would end up with the 200 since the game wouldn't really have a way of distinguishing a difference in the generic patterns.

So instead of only having 200 patterns total for chest... you could possibly end up with 1600. Big difference between those two if you ask me :P

there is CURRENTLY a code issue that prevents this (and may continue to prevent this because it sounds like a very sticky widget)

Anything with charges on it (and a spell scroll has one charge on it... even if it is not shown) cannot stack.

The reason is... when you split the stack of charged items... how many charges does the individual item have? A stack of items does not have "individual" information... it is a stack of X items... not item X + Item Y + Item Z... etc...

this could create "never ending 10 shot potions" by just getting 2 of them, and constantly combining the stacks to get max charges... or a situation where accidentally combining them gets you one charge of each because the code has to assume that only one was wanted on the split items.

Though it may be possibly to have special case code put in for scrolls (since it will always be one charge when split and if the charge is used the item disappears) any special case code like this takes time to add, and is more the realm of Tanker than Maddoc or Absor

The current code does not allow for it to be a simple "change the bit to make it stackable" that non-charged items have.

Actually its not... ESC closes the most recently opened bag first if there are any open. Closing the window with the tiny tiny X or a done button does not.

If you happen to have 5 bags open you have to hit escape 6 times to close the merchant window... then reopen all your bags again.

This is ignoring the fact that the buy button is where the done button should be and humans are habitual creature. I know I have personally completely wasted several thousand pp by accidently hitting the buy button when I had no intention of buying something.

On a related note, is anyone else bothered by the fact that vendor items seem to sort completely randomly now? It used to be that they were on the vendor in order of appearance, so the top items were the ones the vendor always had in stock, but it seems like 50% or more of the time now, the "always in" items (i.e. the ones I usually WANT if I'm buying from a vendor) show up at the BOTTOM. Worse, while I can sort the items by name, there's no way to "sort by age" so there's no way to get those items to -come- to the top.

                                Very inconsistant, very frustrating.
