Yes, I often want my bazaar window to stay open if I'm buying the same things from multiple traders. Escape will close that window too, and then I have to re-do my search. So a done button would really help.

And I think it did used to snap you back to the top of the vendor list after you bought an item, which was annoying if you were diving. It would have been cooler if they allowed us to have the option of either or, as the sorting by name/price is certainly desirable.

The second part he addresses by sorting on quantity, vendor items will go to the top. The first part I'm not so sure about, you definitely used to get an empty box if you bought an item out, and I don't recall it going up to the top. I know it didn't when you didn't buy the item out; that's how you'd buy a ton of patterns, ore, and whatnot. Shift - click clickclickclick
