Would solve alot of the bank crunch for most of us with DoN culture and the plither of required items.

i may be wrong but i think this was mentioned a while ago and SOE basically said that bags within bags would be a major coding problem. just look how long it takes to go through stuff on UO (friend has a server) i would never wnat to have to spend 20 minutes looking for one item....i'm too lazy

Can't you do a magelo dump and figure out which bag it's in from that?

You could also go one step further use my program which keeps track of the inventory of all your mules too (see sig for link).

On another note, if you hear back from the devs on any of these prior to FF, please post here as I'm sure any response they give will generate several more questions.

Also, in addition to the /outputfile question, can you add 'Is there any way to have the /outputfile inventory, spellbook, skills, etc be done automatically at login, logoff, zone, or somehow just done automatically (kind of like the magelo update thing).

Allow Phylactery quest to be done by shadowknights.

Add in a use for mana crystals.

Add in a melee reward for token of service.

Add in WHICH tradeskill uses the particular tradeskill item to the tag -- is this for poisonmaking? alchemy? brewing? just says tradeskills but I don't wanna have to figure it out every time... I wanna know if I need it or if I should save for shaman or if I should sell off the rogue stuff.

Add in a use for Crescent Stone Amulet from BiC quest.

Add in a use for Vasha's Bracelet of Mourning and Abena's Collar of Liberation from BiC quest.

Finish the Symbol of Ducee Fideson quest in PoP.

With regards to Midnight Stones. There might be similar issue to Great Reptile Teeth/Hides (not sure really what that issue is).

I've been soloing Ravenous Stalkers in PoN and the drop rate I've seen for Midnight Stones is like 1 in 80 (which means real slow farming for a Level 70 Warrior). But... They drop a Lore Besatlord Epic item about 98% of the time.

Can you ask if the Beastlord Epic 1.5 item has accidently taken over the Midnight Stone drop table?

I tried to petition this in game and got some canned response saying that GMs are not allowed to let out secrets of the game.

              Have Fun!!!

Hehe... Here's another DoN Armor question.

Could the level of the mobs that drop DoN Master level components be reviewed... and hopefully lowered? Alternatively could the drop rate be increased on higher level mobs?

For instance, the mobs that drop Yttrium ore are in the upper 40's to mid 50's and in multiple zones (I think). The mobs that drop Midnight Stones and Nightmare Arachnid Silk are from lower 50's to low 60's all in one zone. Piles of Gravel are rare and off mobs in the upper 50's to mid 60's (thinking RCoD stuff here - as a Dark Elf, not ones I farm, but have seen drop in the past).

The ability to find folks that would want to assist in farming Plane of Nightmare for Tradeskill drops at level 70 is few and far between. Due to the rarity fo the drops, some significant play time in the zone is required, and soloing mobs of this level is not very viable for a lot of classes (Midnight Stones are extremely slow but possible off light blue mobs (Ravenous Nightstalkers), but Nightmare Arachnid Silks off level 56+ mobs are impossible for my level 70 Warrior to solo and probably couldn't be single pulled).

                Thanks

Creepers in PoN are a hard solo for anyone at 70 without a means to split pull. Tried it with my 70 Paladin and got two. They just take being resourcefull. Go looking through the LFG tool for lvl 60-65 people and you might be able to find a couple to help with killing the spiders. It's not efficient, but in a way, you are PLing some people for help filling a gap you need filled. And at 60-63 atleast, Creepers are insane exp. The drop rate on Nightmare Arachnid Silks is rather high.

Midnight Stones have always been rare. People just notice it more now, but unless somethings changed, I don't believe they are a DoN Cultural item, just for PoN smithing. I usually get a 1:1 ratio on Midnight Stones and Pile of Gravel off of the gargoyles in Plane of Nightmare. As for Piles of Gravel, try the Hole or Gargoyles in PoN. Gargs are no harder than a Ravenous Nightstalker if I remember correctly and you get a double bonus of Midnight Stones and Pile of Gravel, along with a full assortment of diamonds.

Great Reptile Hides and Teeth are rare and hard to get. There should be more ways to do something about them, but as far as I know, there isn't.

The mobs I see as being a decent level, but the drop rate needs to be a bit more common if these are going to be skill up methods. Then again, they may just have a higher chance mod attached to them when they go live so you just need to gather less *shrugs* One can hope :P

Given the shear number of combines of this with poison, it would make more sense to add a Poison version of this recipe back in the game (such as alchemy and poison share a lot of recipes). This requires rogues to carry an additional container, which in turn, takes up more space.

Summary: Add Celestial Essence (The Scent of Marr) recipe to Mortar & Pestle.
YES! Please! I have not yet dared to ask for this, after the angry cries from non-rogues while you needed a mortar & pestle to combine CEs. I never understood the 100% move from mortar to mixing bowl except for pleasing an angry crowd.

I also agree to your other requests, some tradeskill love for rogues would be nice.

                      Wyvernwill,

Midnight stones are used in Dark Elf and Erudite Master Level DoN Smithing. So we are limited to only one zone in which to get the primary component needed for DoN smithing that gives skill-ups post 250 that is not overly expensive (versus trying to Farm metalic drake scales - although Midnight Stones are fetching 1K now in Bazaar on Quell).

I guess I can try and look into what levels the Gargoyles are. They just take a bit of doing to get too in PoN without agroing 50 other mobs.

The tough part about trying to get lower level folks to help is that most of them will want a part of the action to go sell the items in bazaar to us tradeskill nutz! /cry

Yuck, well, that answers my question on that one heh.

I know any time I help lower level folks level, I explain to them the drops I need for my trades and that if they want the exp I'm cool with helping them, but I want my drops for my troubles. Most generally don't disagree, those that do, I leave them go on their way.

Hearing that Midnight Stones were made into a DoN masters item kind of irritates me a bit, but I guess I should have expected that since Nightmare Arachnid Silks were too (however far more commonly).

Just some information to pass along.. You can get to the Gargoyles without every fighting another mob. I do it with my necro all the time without using FD. Get an invis and Levitate/SoE (both needed for this) and from where you zone in, follow the zone wall like you are heading to Hedge and the lower zone out, other than going towards Stalkers. You should see a rock on the cliff edge out a bit, head over to that, climb it and line up with the TarDak by the water, then tilt your view upwards as far as it goes and watch your map as you run across the water. When you get past the TarDak, level your view so you don't accidently run into a mob and then head to the left zone wall and follow that around. Swing out a little bit to avoid the mobs outside of PoNB, then go back to running along the zone wall. Over the hill and you are at the castle. Just a fair warning, be very careful pulling inside the castle if you do attempt that. Paci, or atleast higher level versions are your friend there.
