Can the MoBs that drop Great Reptile Hides also drop Great Reptile Teeth, and vice-versa?

Also, can the general drop-rate be increased? Given the limited number of MoBs that drop these items (especially compared to the number of MoBs that drop Yttrium Ore, for example), the drop-rate should be higher.

Midnight Stones can still only be Crushed (for Night Terror Temper) in a Mortar & Pestle. All other PoP items (as well as Windstones) can be Crushed in a Mixing Bowl. It's a little thing, but it was very inconvenient when I discovered the problem.

KyrosKrane, maybe some of us are confused. Are you asking for input/feedback about your list of questions or just presenting what you intend to ask?

It's an interesting list, though I'd love a chance to suggest some other issues if you're open to it.

For some reason, I was expecting today's patch message to contain a mention of many tradeskill changes. Seeing the tradeskill correspondent say this makes me feel better. The tradeskill section of today's patch message contains ONE NEW RECIPE. That's it.
I tried combining Celestial Solvent, a Raw Rough Hide, Rough Hide Solution and a Skinning Knife. But the result was such an oxymoron, it opened a rift into another universe. I fell through into one of Nodyin's spreadsheets and was slain by a misplaced decimal.

When is DoN Grandmaster Series armour going to be made worth having? Now that DoN crystal bought armour has Slot 9 augs, it blows DoN Grandmaster armour out of the water in terms of HP, and focus effects, noone in their right mind is going to be buying our attuneable armour, when they can get far better from DoN Crystal Vendors.

Both, Neebat. I'm always open to good ideas. I intend to compile the list of questions presented here, prioritize it by what I feel is most important, then submit it to the devs for them to research and prepare responses. Come the Fan Faire, I'll be asking some of the questions of the devs, and hopefully we'll get some meaningful responses. =)

Having said that, this is my list, not EQTrader's list, and not the tradeskill community's list (that would be the Top 10 list on the Sony site). Items that are important to me might be trivial to others, and vice versa. Still, my own questions are fairly limited this time, so time permitting, I may be able to ask questions on behalf of others who can't attend the Fan Faire.

Not sure if this was mentioned. It's a bit of an oldie as well, so do with it what you will.

The ability to add "Made by Nolrog" to items that I craft. That's been a long requested thing (that is in EQ2 by the way.)

Same here. I was surprised we didn't see more. However, I'm pretty sure that Absor said they would be up on Test first.

Can you ask for exact Difficulty values for all 7 regular tradeskills?

Last study I found from these boards is done by Suani (last edited on 19 May 2004) which listed the following as her best guess:

                Baking 3
                Brewing 3
                Fletching 4
                Jewelcraft 4
                Pottery 4
                Smithing 2
                Tailoring 2

If the new skillup formula is gonna be revealed, then please reveal the Difficulty numbers as well.

For Brell's sake, when can we get a Loot All button for looting our own corpse!
I've always felt that the time needed to loot a corpse was part of game balance, making it risky to loot in the middle of a raging battle. Of course, a lot of other recent changes have minimized the downside of dying, so who knows, maybe they'll do this too.

As for tradeskills, my question for the devs would be, do they realise that many players find tradeskills more fun than levelling, and thus there need to be paths to 300 that don't require farming for drops in level 60+ zones? (Obviously, I have no problem with requiring level 60+ farming to make level 60+ items, like OOW armor.) Similarly, I hope the new skillup formula doesn't turn out to screw over anyone with wis/int at a "mere" 255.

The Devs are under no obligation to implement any of our requests. The fact that they have implemented many of them is great, but it's not a guarantee that all of our little whims will be fulfilled. Some player requests are overpowering, or game-breaking.

I've said almost the same thing Moraganth did, but I don't want it to sound like I'm demanding they must FIX THIS... Maybe I'm not explaining it right. I want to know their response, Yes OR No to the issues we bring up. If they think it's unbalancing to solve an issue, I want to hear that. They aren't obligated to make any given change, but are they obligated to be honest about what they're considering and what they're not? I'm no lawyer, but it seems like the right PR thing to do.

For instance, maybe tinkering is exactly as hard as intended with Niltrim where he is. If so, making his wares more available is contrary to the current revision of the Vision. I try to visualize at least 2 people in a room for the last 6 months considering Niltrim's Plight and it makes my head hurt. I just can't believe they're still having internal discussions after all this time. They've either made a decision or deferred it. If they're not going to change it in the foreseeable future, then just SAY SO. That's the message I most want carried to the Fan Faire. (Wish I could go.)

On a related note, I stumbled across an official word from Sony on the JCM issue. They are not willing to discuss it any more. No farther reason to bring it up since Sony is opposed to the idea of non-enchanter jewelcraft masters. It's dead.
