Anyone use Salvage yet?

I'm hoping to get a good number of AA back with the GoD refund, whenever it happens; maybe it'l cover what I have left of salvage and fletching mastery.

Curious if anyone has any numbers on percentage on Salvage 1. Assuming it is somewhere between 5 and 10 percent, since Salvage 2 is 15 and Salvage 3 is 25.

I have no idea about the percentage of stuff salvaged from the different levels of Salvage. I do have Salvage 3 and did salvage one Discordant Scoriae from a failed inlay combine. The Enchanter, with Salvage 3, that has cut my augments for me, has never had a salvage from any failure in approximately 60 attemps.

The fact that it doesn't announce to the group that you salvaged something could mean a serious influx of scammers. Most of us who are GM's aren't going to be the problem. The problem will be that people with lower skill, will buy the Salvage AA's and offer their "services" to people who need expensive combines done. Eventually (sooner rather than later, I'd guess) they'll get some nice stuff heh.

Don't let less than Expert do the combine You can always ask the person who do combine to display Title, IMHO.

I'm working on the Aid Grimel quest, stuck at tailoring hell... I also just got my salvage 1 AA. I have 248 in brewing, and I don't have an expert title. I remember when the titles first came out, some guildees said there were none for 250. Did that change?

Just FYI...

On average with Salvage 3 combining Black Pantherskin stuff -- a stack of ingredients would give me 23-24 combine attempts rather than 20.

If I remember correctly, the Expert titles were added in one of the patches shortly after Omens came out. That is the day I put up my Expert Artisan title and have never taken it off.

um i might be wrong here but the trade skill titles went live with oow not shortly after and i do know for sure if you dont have oow you only have access to the pop class aa titles and the epic 1.0 title ( in other words 4 max ) only exception is if you have been given a title by a gm that is then listed.

what this means is only people with oow can use the titles to prove there skill tho in reference to the people scamming with salvage this works but asking for a title is not always a possible thing i know a few people without oow still
