  • Any New Recipes for 282 onwards in DOD yet?

    hiya all,

    The title says it all.
Being a non elf/karana follower, I am in need of new recipes for the 282 trudge upwards, have there been any new recipes found in the new expansion to get me over the line?

    Thanks

    Krenky

So I guess the Lack of Reply indicates that there is still nothing available for us poor non elf/non karana followers...

    Doh!!!

      276 ish was the highest.

I think the fletching recipes are going to be reviewed at some stage soon, as per previous posts that have been made about it.

Soon seems to be a flexible term at soe

been broken now for 9 months or so?

1 halfway decent recipe would have done it

increase droprate for don arrows would have done it

The fix is all but 30 minutes work and yet it hasn't been done

I don't see what the unbalancing part woul dhave been in increassing droprate for girplan featers and bazu bones- the stuff doesnt tribute for a whole lot and the arrows made aren't THAT uncommon either

Alternatively, they could just give DoN arrows and elemental bows the increased chance of skill-up logic. I'd be fine with that as a Tunare-worshipping Ayr`Dal.

There were arrow recipes IN BETA for DoD that ranged from 211 - 308. I am assuming these are still undiscovered as the corresponding bloods are marked for tradeskills and no recipes for them have been entered into the DB. However, I highly recommend stocking up on Drachnid bloods, Wurine bloods, and Vampire bloods. The arrows in beta were called "Drachnid Bane Arrow", "Wurine Bane Arrow", "Vampiric Bane Arrow", and "High Quality Steel Arrow". I have not seen any lore as how to figure these recipes out. The items from subcombines were supplied in beta and I never really figured out how to incorporate the blood into the recipes for the different arrow parts.

Basic combine for arrow ON BETA was:

            1) Set of "xxx" Steel Arrow Vanes
            - Arrow Vane Stamp
            - Thin Sheet (Thin High Quality Sheet used in "High Quality" type, Thin Drachnid Steel Sheet was used for "Drachnid" type, etc.)
            - File
            2) Small (and probably medium or large) "xxx" Steel Groove Nocks
            - Small (medium or large, also) Nock File
            - Steel Rod (High Quality Steel Rod used in "High Quality" type, Drachnid Steel Rod used in "Drachnid" type, etc.)
            3) "xxx" Steel Arrow Heads
            - ?
            4) "xxx" Steel Bundled Arrow Shafts
            - Arrow Shaft Mold
            - Steel (Small Brick of High Quality Steel used in "High Quality" type)
            - Water Flask
            - File
            (in forge)

*There were 4 types of arrows:
            - High Quality Steel (trivial on BETA was 211 for small groove nocks)
            - Wurine (trivial on BETA was 282)
            - Drachnid (trivial on BETA was 302)
            - Vampiric (trivial on BETA was 308) -blood may only drop in dreadspire, unsure.

Arrows and some subcombines (maybe all) resulted in yields of 5.

Thin steel sheets and steel rods of appropriate bloods were used for the subcombines, however, I don't know how those were made.

Anyway, there is still hope for fletching. We just need to pick our brains or wait for some kind of text lore to come out.

I noticed the arrow vane stamp and the nock files. I figured they started on something but did not finish it and so it was removed till they could do something later. Then again, it could be a mob-dropped book that will be found later, or some undiscovered quest.

Ok, I am getting DNC on HQ arrow shafts. I will try and mess around with Larger bricks tomorrow. I could have written it down wrong in my notes or perhaps the recipes are not live.

I tried various head, shaft, nock and vane recipies and got all DNC. Which isn't much help, but trying different things. Anyhow, if you have anything you would like me to try specifically, let me know.

They're not in game yet, waiting on a coding change to allow them to work... maybe bane damage doesn't work on ammo atm, I'm not sure what the issue is... any of these arrows/parts you see on Lucy aren't from live servers yet. Hopefully this'll be happening in this weeks patch, but it may still be down the road a bit... chomping at the bit to get my last 10 points of fletching, at 2090 right now.. =)

Nope. And will not be in the next patch either. And it looks like it may be a while. Unfortunately there is not much I can do about it but keep asking for the code change.

Relabel them to Clockwork training arrow or something

I think most people wouldnt care if the end result is completely useless at this point in time as long as we get a path to 300

3 points to go and i refuse to do trophees for em

                            2097 tradeskills
                            300 poisoncrafter
                            300 tinker
293 alchemy .... soon finished as it is 100000x easier than fletching
218 research, prolly gunna farm sulfur soon- PBAE lowish zones here i come

As it stands now i have more chance of skilling up spell research to 300 in a sensible way than fletching
