I've been skilling up Baking with my Monk recently (for Bristlebane Party Platters) and from 191 to 222 I made Beer-Battered Hynid and Cragbeast Steaks. I bought all of the meat on the Maguses (Magi?) in Natimbi, Nedaria and the Abysmal Sea, presumably sold to them by people foraging around Natimbi. The Steaks have the major advantage of not needing anything that isn't vendor-sold other than the meat.
From 222 upwards, I'm making Beer-battered (Hynid/Cragbeast) Pie, which requires 2 egg batters and 1 vegetables per pie in addition to vendor-only ingredients. Now that vegetables can be made by combining carrot+turnip+lettuce, this means I only need to farm some Basilisk Eggs for this. I did try clearing the Basilisk caves in Jaggedpine, but got ZERO eggs from them (about 25 basilisks) so I went back to Lavastorm, and got 1-2 eggs from each of the 6 or so low-level basilisks in the southern half of the zone.
Once the Pies triv out, it'll be on to the Souffles, which will need 50% more eggs per combine, but otherwise no real difference.
