Have been checking for the last 2 days.. only sea dragon scales up for sale anymore on fennin... nothing at all under *challenge*...
so I check to see what barterers are offering.. 200p & 500p for the sea dragon MEAT, not per steak even...note.. that's not 200kp-500kp.. just 200-500...somepeople have severe cases of wishful thinking.

there are ways for us to do more than 8. It is just not good practice for designers and we are encouraged NOT to do it (I actually asked about doing it for the meat, but my boss told me NO)
It is usually used for very important things such as the Epic Drops. The water that faydedar drops for epic? stored in its wrist slot.......
It is in general much harder for designers to find "does X drop something", and even worse "is Y Dropped by something" when it is put in a body slot instead of the standard drop spot... so it is discouraged.

On Maelin as of last night there were 10 steaks for sale (from me) and 5 from another fellow. I have seen the prices vary the last week between 25 and 80k per steak and 60-120k per meat.

I have sold 4 completed challenges for 400-800k each in the last week, but the average price now seems to be 350-500k per.

Ngreth just outta curosity, would it be plasauble to eqip the mobs with a bag and have them put stuff in the bag, but when killed the mob would not drop the bag rather the items (if any) in the bag, and still keep the easy for designers to find "does X drop something", or "is Y Dropped by something" the way you have it implmented now?

The current system does not allow for that. it is just individual items... no "bag with stuff in it". The only system with that is banks, players, and spells.

You could have a chest spawn on mob death with meat in it.

Doesn't make any roleplaying sense, but it would work.

Chests magically spawning on ANY mob doesn't make role-playing sense, but hey, it works in both D&D and EQ. =) (Although in D&D, the chest is usually always there; you just can't quite get to it with the baddie in the way.)

Well in this case it would be even worse... cause how the heck would the meat have gotten in there?

Good point, haha...meat would be sliced off the dragon.

Doggone skinny dragons with no meat on their bones.
