The healing potions haven't made it to live yet (to my knowledge). Last I heard they were removed due to "class balance issues". I honestly hope they reconsider this, but I'm not going to hold my breath. The healing potions shouldn't be considered a class balance issue with the 2 minute recast timer. These potions would in no way replace any character that can heal when their recast timer is way less than 2 minutes.

BTW, the patch and notes from last night said the vials were added.

Was just commenting from previous experiences with tradeskill related things. If they decided to leave them out of the expansion when the other potions were added, I highly doubt if they will be added in between expansions.

There's a very valid reason why some potion lines didn't get upgrades: the level 10 ones are demonstrably too powerful already. It's already at the point where the potions can substitute for a buffer of that class; adding in new tiers would invalidate some spell lines entirely. This particularly affects the haste and clarity lines, bit it also affects the healing potions and a couple of others, I think.

Haste potion is also already at cap at X, so... it is not even a balance issue as much as it is done issue. And no, we are not going to add other components and make it even more replace a buffing class.

But clarity is definitely a sticking point, and is not likely to improve.

The healing potions though we will be considering.

so the healing pots aren't live yet? I wouldn't want to go crazy and harrass alchemy merchants trying to solve a recipe that aren't live.

Sorry, I don't understand this - the level X alacrity potion is 50% spell haste, and as far as I know, the very best haste item is 46% haste -- the total still only gets to 96% haste, and the cap is 100% (Overhaste is needed to go beyond it). And 50% spell haste is available to Enchanters by level 44, to Shaman by 56 and Beastlords by 63.

So, it seems to me that there's room for at least 1 more Alacrity potion, to take the haste amount to 55%?

I think the problem is that the haste potions already render beastlord haste moot.

I hardly think a group is likely to take on a beastlord just because they need haste, or drop one because they have haste potions...

In my 8 1/2 years of experience, I've NEVER known a group to look for someone to cast Haste on them -- but every group wants someone to slow the mobs, and for that, Beastlords do fine.

And, what's wrong with allowing Beastlords access to some of the later Haste spells past 75 anyway?

As a beastlord, I just hand out haste potions at times, saves time and mana.

Give beasts a group version of their haste lines.

I thought they got one with this expansion? They keep casting something on me when they are trying to get their pets lately.

Maybe I misunderstood what I was told.

I was told 50% was it for that haste.

I still do not plan on making any past that.
