        39 Laquered Peridots on a Vendor for less than 1p each...

        I'm not really working towards pottery right now, but I certainly couldn't pass those up!

          I've also found lacquered gems on merchants and even though I was past that point I too couldn't pass them up. I'm holding onto them til la guildie decides to skill up on pottery.

            Found almost a stack of witherin slime on a vendor in CC for a little ofer 15pp each, made some epicthick's lubricating goo, and sold them all for 1k each last night. One of the buyer who took the remaining stock I had relisted them at higher price. But still easy 20k for only 300pp investiment

                  I've been keeping track of this thread for quite a while, even though I've never actually made a serious attempt at vendordiving before. Today, that all changed. During June the 15th and 16th, I've been swinging by various vendors in order to see what I could dig up. I really wasn't expecting much, but look what I found:

                  - 14 blue diamonds
                  - 1 kirin horn
                  - 2 raw pale nihilite
                  - 2 coiled springs
                  - 14 saltpeter
                  - 1 powder of Ro
                  - 2 hynid manes
                  - 1 drake-spikes
                  - 1 darkhollow basilisk meat

                  Beginner's luck? Perhaps, but I'll definitely be vendordiving on a regular basis from this point on!

                      Was on my cleric alt in POI and decided to check the local vendor that patrols the zone. Scored 92 saltpeters I was like Happy Anniversary, Honey! He was so excited. Think they were going for a gold a piece. It was way sweet. Now hubby's gotta work on spell research again, lol.

                        Scored 8 chunk of wind metal...from guild hall vendor. Have also picked up emerald oranges, blood raven parts, etc for way cheap.

                          Just one question: how did so many potienal vendor diver miss a major npc in high traffic area for a 20k item?

                          EDIT: for reference I have CHA of 230 when I bought that hide

                              Ping Fizzlecutter is one of those merchants that have some sort of modifyer to their buy/sell price; the gist is that they gouge you both ways. That's why the selling price is so high on the diamond, and likely on the drake hide as well; not that it matters....
