Had a thought just now... With regards to the various Zones, we currently keep just the Zone Name and the Expansion. I think adding an additional Note Field to it would allow for some specification of the Entrance Requirement(s) to get into the zone.

This could be a "Key" (Trakanon's Idol) to get into Old Sebilis, a Level Requirement (Min Level 46 for Plane of Tranquility), or alternate ways, Level, or Flag... complete Quest X.

The information could be displayed when you examine Tradeskill Supplies for a specified Zone.

New forums look nice There is one minor feature I miss tho on the "New Posts" search results page
      http://mboards.eqtraders.com/eq/search.php?searchid=265
There used to be a "Mark all Read" link. I miss that I used to view new posts read th eones I wanted to, then mark all read. Now I have to go back to the main forum page and scroll to the bottom for the link. I can put up with it, but the link WAS handy...

How about adding a section where items are listed that have no known recipe that uses them, even though they have a tradeskill tag on them?

I must say that I liked the old bullets that showed which topics were having new posts (yellow) and which ones were "read" (grey). The old forum was very clear with that. The current "bullets" on the forum overview are not nearly as easy to tell apart by quick glance, you really need to look and see if a topic has the "new post" bullet, or not. Can the original distinction be brought back, or another way to somehow tell them apart at a mere glance?

That is a posibility, but one for the far future. We do not have all (if any) items marked as having the flag in our DB :/

I know quite a bit about PHP but I would really have to see the code to tell you where it went.

Unfortunately I do not own the code to pass around :/

Can I request changing the icons on the forum?

At the moment, there are too many and they look too much alike. Right now, we have to actually identify the icons by color AND by details. I think forums and threads that has no new posts should just not have an icon. And I don't think its necessary to identify the "hot" topics. Those of us that frequent the board enough to care actually reads everything anyway.

                            Just my 2 cents.

Does someone with art tools (I have none) and artistic skills (I have none) want to make new icons? If so PM me and I will give a list of icons needed (there are alot... though there is some simplification that can be done...)

                                mark all forums

With the implementation of the new boards I have discovered one thing that I'd like added:

A link to the "Mark all Forums as read" in a more convenient spot. With the old boards I could do this from any page of the search results that gave me new posts. Now I have to back all the way out to the top level of the EQTC forums to mark all the posts as read.

Quirky and small, but I find it easier and faster to do it from any page.
