Fractured Femur (Runnyeye : Pickclaw bone mender - 1st and 2nd try)

The problem here isn't the beads, for those of you who have all four items, it's the femur. If you try handing in all 4 items individually you'll find that you get the "must turn in all quest items at once...etc" message for beads, nerves, and skull, but with the femur off the bonemenders hell tell you he has no use for it and give it back to you. the beads I have dropped in misty off gobs right outside RunnyEye, have heard they drop in Gorge too tho - just called "Bead Necklace". Anyways, I think it may be bugged atm, doesn't make sense that that femur isnt the right item, /bugged it earlier....if anyone finds any more info, please post.

quest is indeed bugged but you can still get it to work.

the fractured femur you need isnt from runnyeye, its from a quest in tox. Kill kobold scouts in toxx and turin in "useless cloth cap" that they occasionally drop into the 2 skellies by te paineel entrance. They will give you bone chips, zombie skin, or if youre lucky the fractured femur that we ened...

Thought this may have been the issue, that maybe since the items had the same exact name, the wrong one has been marked for the quest...been tryin this quest to test this theory, but haven't gotten lucky enough to get the femur from the skeles yet.

                beads

a goblin lookout in the Gorge dropped Bead Necklace. When I try to hand it in, I get the 'you must hand in all items at once...' message, so this is it.

Trying to get the quest femur now. I have killed about 40 kobold scouts, had three hats drop, and gotten two zombie skins and a bone chips. I have been in Toxxulia forest for hours. Scouts aren't that common. I seriously hope they fix the quest flag to be the appropriate femur, as it's obviously intended to be the one from RunnyEye.

                :/

                  femur

I can confirm, after many hours and many many dead kobold scouts...the femur from the Tox quest works for the halfling tradeskill book. If you're going to do the quest before it's fixed, be prepared for a long and boring time in Toxxulia. It took ten turn ins for me. And it took probably near 100 kobold scouts to get ten useless caps to turn in. And in one hour you're LUCKY to find more than five scouts.

Also, it's a known issue and they're going to 'fix it' in the next patch...which I hope is soon since it looks like this part will have to be repeated.

Bead Necklace dropped for me from the bandit camp in Gfay

                    Skeletons in tunnel:
Turning useless cloth cap into skeleton on the right gives items he has mined .. Gems

Turning cap into skeleton on the left gives a piece of himself, I turned in 2 caps to him and received a zombie skin and fractured femur.

Hope this helps, and happy hunting /tradeskilling

The beat necklace drops off of "a goblin lookout" in the lair. This can be a bit of a long process, but that's where it comes from. The neck can also drop off of "a goblin lookout" in misty thicket, but I wouldn't bet the farm that the NPC will accept that one.

I got my bead necklace to drop for me from a kobold in the Warrens.

I can't remember what type of kobold it was, I just went on a killing spree in there for about 2 hours and I got 2 to drop for me. This was 2 days ago.

Additionally, I confirmed that it worked for the turn in which I did 2 days ago also along with the fractured femur that I got from doing the kobold scout quest in Tox Forest.

I think they since have done the patch to correct which fractured femur you need to turn in, but hopefully there was no change to the bead necklace.

The femur from Runny did not work this morning so, unless it was patched later today then we are still stuck.

Minotaur horns are in the gorge or in Steamfont. They seems to drop more often in Steamfont.

Thanks for the update, Since they seem to have things back on track I will give it another shot.
