Well, after almost six years the spark finally faded. MY EQ acount has now expired and am no longer shivering :P
Worst part over i guess, i would like to thank everyone that has made my litle project here possible. It has been a fun road to follow, but all roads must come to an end.

I hope my work has lead some people (easier) to the insane road of EQ tradeskilling, and that they will continue that road for some time.

Just thought of something tho. Maybe we can add Combines that are 300+ to get our trophies at the Final Level? You know, for those who are already 300 in a skill.

Two notes offhand on Alchemy:

1) Should be "Philter of Faerun", not "Philter of Gaerun" (the link should be changed, as well.)

2) Should you really make the Tonic to 156 instead of going straight to Philter of the Wolf IV? Tonic costs 5.244p to make, PoW4 is 4.257p. Do sellback costs counterbalance it? Or are you just assuming that the number of combines needed is low enough to make it worth it?

I know that's not a lot of plat in the grand scheme of things, but at low levels, it could be a bit.

Edit: Ok, on point 2, I just checked...on average, you'll spend about 60p more on skillup up from 148 to 156 using the Tonic. I have no idea about sellback values. You'd have about 64 Tonics to sellback compared to about 62 PoW4s. I would guess that the sellback values (if any) would be comparable. If so, you'd spend less money on Tonics unless they sell back for 30ish plat...which would be a MAJOR exploit.

Re: spell research - unless it's been changed, you cannot start making swatches till skill level 101 as they can only be combined in the advanced tome (obtained in gunthak) and you can't get the advanced tome until then.

Changed the typos (copy/paste error in JC hehe) About the Tonic, iam not sure about the sell back, but with my experience with the RNG more succes combines the better skill ups Thats why there are so many different fx in the JC guide hehe. Alchemy and Spell Research are the ones i personally dont have on my toons, where iam relying on the info i collect from different places and people.

Yes, more successes is generally better...in this case, though, the number of successes vs. the number of combines isn't enough, IMO, to sway the balance to the more expensive combine. Either way, it's only around a 60p swing, on average, and not likely to break you (or you need to quit, anyway.)

Why bother with the Holy Cakes?

The brownie part/winter chocolate used in EACH Holy Cake combine would not be better served doing 100 MTP combines? Why not switch over to MTPs after Halas Meat Pies?

There are a lot of PoP baking recipes that could be substituted in for Hero Sandwiches that would get to 282/288/295. I remember that PoP was where most people still hung out and my guild raided when I worked my baking so it was easier (not easy) to get some of the supplies needed for them.

Jord Meat Pies, Mephit Meat Pies, Planar Fruit Pies... etc.

I would use this instead of the master autoactuated.

Autoactuated uses knuckle joints, which are a rare component as is. You won't get the numbers for the needed skillup runs

Servolink uses vendorbough sprockets and same farmed components so is a superior combine for skillups

I would go with Master's Servolinked Legs or BP over Woks. Seems like you can get alot more Yttrium than you can carapaces.

I would also suggest offering corathus entrail as an alternative skillup path over acrylis reinforced gorget. Suberb sking are rare and often very expensive in bazaar while corathus entrail are common and you'd only need to spend a little over 200pp per attempt. Defiantly faster as there's less farming required.

Heh...appears he's right. I believe the following changes would need to be made to the list to be accurate:

Eucalyptus: lists 20, should be 10.
Frosting: lists 23, should be 19.
Fruit: lists 3, should be 2.
Jumjum Stalk: lists 22, should be 21.
Loaf of Bread: lists 18, should be 9.
Spices: lists 20, should be 10.

While Metallic Alkaloid is indeed all store-bought, one of the components is Kiola Nuts, which are only sold in Ocean of Tears and don't stack. I found it more convenient, albeit more irritating, to just skip straight to Cyclic Vertigo. Successes were non-existant at first, but I did get skillups.
