-------------------------------------------------------------
Well, I finally finished a *huge* baking compendium for the Story Window. Hopefully someone can get some use out of it. Elements of the layout of the initial page were borrowed from Quesci (thanks for the mod!!).
What has been done:
1) Verified every ingredient, implement, and recipe item with its true in-game name. (Cross referenced the data from EQ Traders with the Magelo database).
2) Recipes such as "Noodles" which can return different yields (and sometimes have different trivial) when using different egg types have been split into several "Noodles" recipes. Each recipe consists of unique ingredients.
3) Multiple indexes listing recipes by Item name, Trivial Ascending, Trivial Descending, and by Stats.
4) If an ingredient/implement is also made using a recipe, the ingredient/implement is hyperlinked to it's own recipe. (This will obviously prove more useful once I finish other tradeskill compendiums).
5) I tried to fix as many errors as I could as I found them in the EQ Traders listings. In doing so, I can't guarantee that I didn't introduce a few errors myself by fat-fingering something along the way.
6) None of the files in this archive, other than the initial index, were generated by hand to lessen the chances of a typo that would lock EQ. I wrote my own custom application that reads from a database that I also created which contains all recipes as I clean them up and verify the names of all the items pertaining to a given recipe.
7) There are still a few trivial missing (but only 2 or 3), and a slight number of recipes that are missing what implements are used to cook them and what the recipe yield is. I hope to get these added as soon as I find out myself.
8) All weight, class, race data is correct for each item as found in the Magelo database.
9) Each recipe is on it's own stand-alone page. This is unique to the previous methods used to display recipes in the story window. At some point, I may offer optional indexes that include all recipe details on the listing pages. Initially, I wanted to go with more of a total indexed appearance though.
10) All pages share a common color scheme. I decided on an icey blue look....for no particular reason.
11) Formating....it's a pain. I only wish the story window supported tables. Since it doesn't, things might look a lot out of alignment but unfortunately there's nothing that I can do about it at this point.
12) This whole project took about 2 weeks to complete. Most of that time went into developing the application to generate all the pages.
