Thanks. Sounds like fun! I can't wait to try them. I love gnomes and tinkering.

I believe the name of the bracelet is Fizzlesprocket's Energy Repository, since one of the items needed is a Temporite Trio Bracelet. The recipe is in a book on the PoK tinkering vendors called Notes on Lost Manuscript of the Lost Great Gnome.

I have not completed it yet due to a problem with the Faceted Blue Diamonds. I think Ngreth said he would be likely be changing it though in another thread.

If they were actually part of the quest, I doubt it. If it was just incidental (I.E. you could not get to the zone to get the parts) then yes

you need to have Terris Thule, Saryn and Bertox flag, or Aid Grimmel tell you to go explore the world before you can help him. So yes, you need those 3 flags to get the etched dust and make the Faceted Blue Diamond.

As per the other thread in the JC section, this has been changed to Mounted Blue Diamonds which require no POP flagging. Will update with next full patch.

Yes, it checks to see if indoor or outdoor... I can't do a zone by zone list...

Then if outdoor it flings you up then checks 1 sec later if you are above the ground, if so it teleports you if not it "bumps your head"

So zones with weird settings... not tons I can do about it.

The suit: clicky clockwork illusion with a small rune effect. The recast is approx 2x the spell duration and the illusion does fade once you've taken enough damage to remove the rune portion of the effect (i think).
The survival suit is actually not a rune. I don't know if it was on beta but its not now. Its a very tiny damage mitigation buff.

                      Spell Details for Gnomework Suit

                      1: Illusion: Gnomework
5: Add Defensive Proc: Gnomework Suit Powerdrain rate mod 150
                      6: Skill Damage Taken(-1)

The proc is a tiny Endurance drain.

I've made 5 now, and my boyfriend has used it a few times even though he tanks. It lasts the flat 30 minutes for him despite full buff extension AA's, but lasts 16 hours per Master of Disguise for me.

                        Gnomework illusion timer

For classes that can have "permanent illusions" the timer on this illusion works the same as all other illusions. At least when I clicked it on my bard shortly after I made is a few weeks ago it did. Haven't clicked it again since.

Opps guess if I read the whole post above mine I'd have seen that someone already mentioned this!

AKA Muertenie, Melodee, Orelinde, Nounie, Gnomess, Cininea Ashryn, Mairede or a host of additional alts. Maybe also be found on Rabon, Kynsh or Atracker.

This makes me very, very sad. I love using this on my Gnome Shadowknight, but 30 minutes a pop is trouble, while others are running around with it for hours using MoD, Permanent Illu, etc.

Hey, Ngreth, any chance we can get an AA to make some tinkered effects last longer on Gnomes?

Our data structure would not allow us to do "just tinkering items" and we could not justify giving that to all spell effects for all gnomes.

Then could you just allow spell casting reinforcement and mastery to affect the buff? The damage mitigated (1 point per hit... woo!) is virtually nothing, and the proc alone is quite a cost if you stay busy, not to mention THREE class 6 mana batteries for ten charges, but some of us non rogues/bards/chanters LIKE being gnomeworks!

All in all, the overall benefit from the illusion is minimal, the cost is notable, but the flavor of it is just so much fun!!!
