I have a gnoe rogue that I use for tinkering. Yttrium ore is a really easy path for skill up. I dont mind destroying the items when done as it is a vastly cheaper route the getting 300 tinkering the conventional way.
I use a rogue and his base stat is STR unbuffed at 252. His INT is only 147. Someone told me that tinkering is based off of INT only. On a character select screen I did not see anything that refers to tinkers needing INT for tinkering and assumed that like other tradeskills, the highest will determine what stat is his primary stat for getting skill-ups. Is this true? Or do I gotta go through all the trouble of making this rogue lose STR to gain INT for skill-ups?
