You guys just need to invent the "Clockwork Bolt Extractor" just be sure that you aim it at the proper target and that you remember to put in an "OFF" button (you can't believe how many entries in the "Great Big Book of Oops" are due to that simple mistake."Yes I am He!

Is there an instanced zone to kill Reapers? I don't recal one.
If an instanced zone existed, then it would be possible to have more then 1 person per day per server hold the area where only 10 to 15 mobs in the game drop the items you need. As it is, it's a bit poorly designed.

bellfast 5 mobs respawn in like 5 to 7 minutes. Due to this, you can camp the first 2 clockworks with little problem. Main problem with this though is you wont find anybody solo'ing even just those 2 mobs unless they box a near full group, as bellfast 5 is very rough.

I won't revisit the previous posts, cause then the board basher will bash me
However, commenting on data and availability of components:
Bazaar bough clockwork gnome bolts: 34, average price 2,5k
Bazaar bought shadowmane pelts : 6 average price 9,5k
Seems to me that at least in the bazaar there is a reasonable balance of components.
Bazaarbought components and vendor bought components mount up on average to around 40k in cost
My stock of aaaa's can grow faster than the bazaar absorbs them (selling at low end of market too)
Conclusion: Most AAAA are slightly overpriced but probably either the market will drop out due to overstocking at the tinkers (which is not uncommon anyway) or market will pick up as more guilds reach this content and starts farming it (although usually the other guilds move out by then)
In total it seems fairly balanced droprate wise. Also the other components like gargoyle dust seem to be dropping at good enough rates. I have never run out of these and lately they seem to be going down in price quite fast- suggesting first level of saturation of market and people stopping to stockpile em for their own and/or guild use

Cheapest bolt I have seen in the last month on Prexus was 8k. Most are 10-15k, and I have never seen 34 bolts at one time, heck I don't think I have ever seen more than 6 in the bazaar at once. Shadowmane pelts on the other hand tend to run 15-20k here. There are usually 1 to 3 for sale.
The median price for Prexus over the last 30 days according to GearEQ (a bazaar tracking bot for Prexus) is 12k for the bolts, and 20k for the pelts. Not that I am complaining, AAAA's still sell for 270k here, and I have made a mint between amalgamators and mechanoinstructions.

I never ever see Shadowmane Pelts for sale. My buyer has been set to buy them from 20-30k (depending on the other buyers online atm). I refuse to pay more than 500pp per clockwork part, though I see people trying to sell the stuff for 800-2500 (whether its a bolt or not). At one point I almost went broke buying everything off some guy that was only there to farm some drop from a named - must've cost me 80k at the time at 500pp apiece (and then the rollback ate it all omg must not rant...) Right now I just ask my guildmates to farm "critical" parts for their own AAAA and any extra I just hold in case to make up for minor shortages. Shadowmane Pelts are still the biggest PITA though.Durell Spider`Monkey - 70 HUM MNK - Pandemonium - Zek

It is 10x easier to farm pelts than bolts. Sure, the bolts come from much easier mobs, and I can mass kill these solo....but I still need 5 of them. Plus I really do not enjoy farming lt. blues or greens for items anymore.
I can also solo the pelts, it may take longer to kill the Shadowmanes and I can't kill anywhere close to as many in the same amount of time. But I promise you, the drop rate is far better. Plus, the mobs are close to 10% aa per @ 70.
If you have a way to split pull, snare and root, you can farm pelts. It may take some exploration to find the safe camp, but once you do you'll see the bolts are the biggest bottleneck of mass AAAA production.
On D-ro the pelts typically run 10k and up, bolts 1k to 5k. AAAAs sell for 100k - 150k normally.
I'll buy the bolts if I can get them on the lower end of the range, and I will only buy the pelts if I can get them for 5k or under.Sunburnt Dmize - 80 Druid - D-Ro

I have a decently geared 70 mage and a well-geared 70 monk. I have no doubt I could duo these easy, but would prefer to only have to worry about one char at a time in a PvP zone. Think I'll have to take a test run with the monk and see how he handles them.Durell Spider`Monkey - 70 HUM MNK - Pandemonium - Zek
