    What is good to keep/collect to fuel my tinker friend to 300?

    aka, what's teh hard parts, so i can start collecting them now?

      Probably be easiest to print a trivial list and look up the ingredients. But off the top of my head:

      For the 250+ range,

      Knuckle joints, clockwork carapaces, innovative bolts, elemental bricks for cams (ie molten ore, chunks of wind metal, etc), clockwork grease, haze panther eyes, severed feren tentacles.

      In the 215+ range,

      higher end geerlok & collapsed container supplies, including things like coiled springs, maneater roots, scorpian venom glands, silver tipped quills, waterlogged rigging

      Below 215,

      Standard geerlok supplies, including Darkclaw claws, Sensate Reishi Lens, belt of leathery fungus flesh, chitterling barbs, porous mineral blocks, and small pieces of acrylia.

        To expand a bit on Ixiola’s reply:
        Molten Metal and Immaculate Steel are the realistic elemental metals. The others will sell for enough in the Bazaar that you don’t want to use them for skill ups. You’ll need the clockwork grease for these. These are foraged in PoI, not dropped.

        On the collapsed containers: they are lore – so if he doesn’t plan on skilling slowly so he can sell the results, he needs to be prepared to loose the result on each subsequent combine.

          Once the planar cams go trivial at 282, the choices become much more limited.

          Knuckle Joints for the Crab Cracker can take him to 288.

          Nightmare Arachnid Silks can be used with gnomish DoN cultuaral combines to reach 290 tinkering at 1 swatch per attempt, or 300 at 3 swatches per attempt.

          Haze Panther Eyes for the Gnomish Vanishing Device are a bit on the rare side, but can turn a good profit in addition to skill ups at trivial 302.

          Clockwork Carapace is used for Wok, trivial 302.

          Coarse Silk for DoN grandmaster armor also gives skill ups at any level.

            severed Feran tenticals are tailored to make boot gaskets which are used to make ice cream churns and collapsed distilleries(sp):-)
