Cost for 20 combines ends up being about 2k. To get your cost down below what you said you could buy them for in the bazaar you'd need at least 2 successes out of the 20. In my experience your skill needs to be into the low 200's before you get that success rate.

Wait a sec. If you need a second success, don't you have to have another chain? That would add another 250 plus pps to the cost so you would need to make 3 to breakeven. It adds 500pps to the cost but should be able to get that money back with 3 successes per stack of combine.

If you got back and look at my numbers again you'll see that 2 success is pretty much break even. 1k for emeralds/ce's etc, 500ppish for the silk swatches, 500ppish for 2 chains. Assuming you sold the robes for 1k a pop thats 2 combines in 20 to break even give or take. I personally managed to sell some at 1250 too which was nice.
