Yes, hehe, but beauty of solstice robes is the chain only gets consumed ON SUCCESS. So if you fail all you've lost was the silk. And if you succeeed you can sell the robe for enough to buy another chain.

At 158 you're going to fail a lot anyway so one gem studded chain will carry you quite a long way, if you don't care abot the 30-40pp (emeralds only significant expense at risk on a combine attempt) this would be a great way to skill up.

I've found the 20 combines per skill up to be way out of whack for me personally. It seems to be applied to all skills with a very broad brush when I hear that number referred to. But with decent stats(275 to 305 wisdom) it took me much more than that for me in baking, pottery, and now smithing(where post fine plate level(188) it has taken me more than 40 combines per skill up, for a sample size of almost 1000 combines, about 3/4 shadowscream and 1/4 mistletoe sickles).

Hypothetical projections of what might happen can be much, much better or for that matter, far FAR worse than what really happens.

What is a 35 druid to do? .. 2 words for you: Level Up

Tailoring is one of the most expensive trades out there as I mentioned in a thread I made recently it cost me around 24,000pp for the skillups from 180-190. If you got the plat and spare time to burn .. as well as the desire to develop carple tunnel .. then feel free to do the robes as they are the most reliable method.

I also highly advise you to level up ASAP .. from what I hear they are toying with the idea on the Test server of restricting KEI and other high end buffs to people level 45+
