I think I'm the only one excited about this...first of all the pattern is free for the asking and stacks.
Second of all I made the dark elf burnishing one yesterday and it was not trivial at 166...this might prove to be a lucrative skill up monster for me...(champion dumpster diver)

I'll log on and post the stats for the robe I made later on if i remember

      Woodelves can make these?

Pardon me for asking, but can WoodElves make any of these wonderful robes? I'm drooling over the ability to dye things, and now make these perhaps for my Guild Mates. (I'm only at 54 tailor wise so far, but in looking at the recipes, I see that only HIGH ELVES seem to be able to make them?

Am I just not quite understanding this correctly, or are WoodElves not able to make the cultural robes?

If not, ... and if so...

I'm dying (no pun intended) to make something new and really cool!

Wood elf tailor here to, but from my reading...

No, we cannot do the final combine as we are not a robed race. Only Dark Elves, Erudites, Gnomes, High Elves, Humans, Iksar appear to have these recipes as the Pattern Givers are race based and the patterns are NO DROP.

As we have cultural tailoring (as do Halflings) I suspect we just need to be happy for those races who have been tailoring-challenged up to now.

          Robe of the Radiant

          Slot: CHEST
          AC: 8
          CHA: +2 INT: +5
SV FIRE: +3 SV COLD: +3 SV MAGIC: +3
          WT: 0.0 SIZE: Tiny
          Class: NEC WIZ MAG ENC
          Race: ALL

Looks like a Robe of the Great Panda, except the color is like "radiating" blue (ie it looks like its blinking lol)...or maybe thats my graphics card's way of saying it needs rest.

          Not trivial at 169.

            Woodelves and robes...

Ah too true, I forgot about the racial tailoring being so unbalanced... hehehehehe ops:. I AM happy for my fellow trade skillers though, that can finally make something wonderful! I will be on the lookout for the beautiful new robes and continue working slavishly at my tailoring skills!

When I get the expansion that lets me dye my stuff though... wooHOO!

Thanks for letting me know about the speicifics, I deeply appreciate that!

These robes are a bit of a disappointment for the work

Hmm.. Now that the stats are posted for the first 3 High Elf robes, they are a bit of a disappointment. My High Elf mage has been hunting in Crystal Caverns, and already got a Blackened Crystalline Robe off a Herbalist.. At level 35, and it is a better or equal robe to the first two.

The fourth gnome robe looks nice.

+9 Int, some mana, and decent saves.

And it still uses the gold ribbon, not even seeing the platinum ribbon robes yet.

I don't have LoY yet, but was looking at some of the recipies involved in making the robes. Just making the ribbons looks like a decent enough way to skill up. But, I wasn't able to find the prices of the Silver/Gold/Platinum ribbons. Are they vendor sold or mob dropped. If they're vendor sold, how much do they cost?

I've just made the sixth high elf robe. I'm really happy to see a focus effect.

                            Robe of Virtue
                            Slot: CHEST
                            AC: 11
                            DEX: +2 STA: +10 INT: +11 HP: +25 MANA: +25 SV COLD: +20
                            Focus Effect: Reagent Conservation III
                            WT: 0.0 Size: TINY
                            Class: NEC WIZ MAG ENC
                            Race: ALL

Other than the AC, this is just plain better than the Vah Shir Skin Robe, which I typically see at 4k or more. So don't go saying the stats suck (other than the AC). Now... with any luck, the robes made by other races will have different focus effects.

At the time I made this (62 enchanter) I was wearing a Robe of Viscid Slime, which gives me roughly the same HP, mana, and saves. This robe has less Dex and Cha, and about half the AC, but it has a focus effect and no required level.

I just did the 5th High elf Robe. Not bad. Stats in the sticky up top.

A little conjecture here (translate as *warning: theory incoming*).

We have 6 races making robes for 4 classes. I'm guessing that 2 will be general purpose robes, then other 4 tailored (no pun intended) to a specific class.

                                High Elf best robe
                                AC 11, STA 10, DEX 2, INT 11, HP 25, mana 25, sv cold 20
                                Reagent Conserve III.
Pretty generic, saves on pets, runes, and bane nukes.

                                Dark Elf best robe
                                AC: 11, STA 10, CHA 2, INT 11, HP 45, Sv Fire 10, Sv Poison 10
                                2 hp / tick regen.
Regen, stam, hitpoints. a Very necro robe.

I'd wager the Erudite would come with some form of damage enhancer (likely 10% vs the 20% on Imp Dam 3), Gnomes getting a buff or debuff extender (geared at enchanters), a mana reducer on the iksar (nice and generic), and maybe a summon haste on human (geared to mage).

Each with 11 AC, 11 Int, 10 stam, 2 of a random stat (1 with 12 stam and no other), a mix of hp and mana totalling 45-50, and a total of 20 resists
