the oddest thing... I could not find any OLD tokens... it looks like they have been deleted from the database. So I am not sure how at all this could be done in the bazaar. This is very odd...
Artemisia, can you PM me with your station account (I do **NOT** want your password...), and the day you made the purchase. even the approximate hour if you have it. Also, what character this was done with. And finally Are you sure you bought a token? (the bag conversion woman will still do the tokens, but I cannot find the tokens in the items database)Ngreth Thergn

I won't pretend to know how EQ's coding works, but wouldn't it be a simple enough fix to change what token you get for the old bag, on turn in, to hand you the new bags token?Comment

The old sewing kits are still sewing kits and can be used as such just not with the new cultural sewing. This having been said there is still the problem existing of people getting ripped off buying the old kits thinking they are buying the NEW kits and that is the issue here. A change of the name will make this a non problem. Is this not a possible solution? Well, thats simple. If someone wants an old kit, they either make one, or have someone make them one, and not exchange tokens to get a new one.Comment

To make things even more confusing, the Human DoN cultural recipes on the site are pointing to the old cultural container not the new one. I think. I'm prety confused so hoping someone else can look before I try to "fix" something that might not be broken.

You are right I finally tried the combine and it worked with what is listed.
I misunderstood the quest writeup which says "To make the cultural sewing kit you combine a small brick of your cultural metal with a water flask, needle mold and thimble mold in your cultural forge." The write up is completely correct I just need to learn to read.
I thought it was asking for the combined material (for human, HQ ore + mammoth tusk) but when that didn't combine I tried just the HQ and it worked fine and it DID do the DoN combines. Makes more sense for it to be the HQ only otherwise would need a new one each tier but I read it wrong.
Came here to get rid of my post but since it was answered already will tell everyone what an idiot I am. /blushComment
