Table 3 doesn't have 1-4 lb fish (or I have been EXTREMELY unlucky...working on Chowderly's Bowl, I fished over 2 stacks of EACH of the higher fish without ever seeing one of the lower ones...until I switch to an alt.)

And once your alt toon gains enough skill fishing, it will be useless for getting the 1-4lb fish too.

Heh...yeah, for simplicity, I didn't mention that it actually took me 2(!) alts to get the fish I was looking for. :\

I would assume that it depends on the zone. In other words, most likely the tables would all include the same items...just with differing chances. But, that is dependant on how the designer built the tables. So, they COULD make it so that table 3 contains an item that tables 1 and 2 don't...but they generally don't.

I believe (no way to confirm) that at least with fishing, there are such examples. Once your fishing is high enough, for instance, you will never fish another 1-4lb fish in Abysmal Sea. If you need a 2lb-er, you'll need to get it from someone else or use an alt to fish. it is totally up to how the designer sets up the tables.

For one I think the epic forages are ONLY in table 3 where they are there.
and the abysmal fishing is a prime example of where a not so bad idea went a bit wrong when someone ELSE with no knowledge of the tables made a quest using the fishing.
