It does however put up a fairly decent fight as it causes my pet no small amount of damage before it dies, but no matter. The little T's .....'almost' spawn now. What I mean by this is once the Big T dies, the army.....does in fact appear, however they are not targetable and imeditealy wink out of existance within a few seconds. They have done this now on 2 seperate occasions. I think it can be attributed to the fableds causing a problem somehow, perhaps when the fableds are over we will see what happens then.
Has nothing to do with teh Fabled, this happened to me at least a week or more before the Fableds started spawning. I /bugged it in game, I didn't have a tracker in the zone but I suspected the terrorantulings poofed under the world or something....

That is moderatelty interesting since it represents an improvement over my 1st report on the matter. At least they now appear for few seconds before they vanish like a ranger at a North Qeynos Fire beetle raid. After the revamp they didnt even do that much.

I was farming this a few weeks ago with my ranger, and while the babies spawn and seem to poof, they are actually warping to the southern edge of the zone, near the wayfarer camp/innothule zone line. They're just piled up on top of each other, waiting for someone to clean them up.

I'm assuming this hasn't changed since the Fabled began, because I haven't farmed them since the anniversary started.

Hehe, reminds me of Eastern Wastes and one of the ring wars at the fort...you might run into as many as 5 instances of the war with giants and orcs stacked on each other. What a mess that was.

                When I farmed them

When I farmed the silks about a year ago killing terrorantula did not automatically pop the babies. It's a cycle of mobs that involves:

                Terrorantula
Desert Terrantulas (3 or 6 spawn set)
Desert Pumas (2 or 4 spawn set)
                Baby terrorantulings

I had to have a ranger tracker "bot" autofollow me and I used to him see what would spawn when I killed the current set and then go kill it to spawn another set. The next spawn set in the cycle seemed to be random and I could get streaks of terrorantulings or go 20/30 mins w/o a pop of em. I would even get terrorantula back to back spawns.

Fulvous and similar "tier 2" Old Cultural were not what was changed.

The only cultural that was changed for Erudites was the original "tier 1" stuff. Plain Steelsilk stayed the same, but take a look at your Imbued Steelsilk now.

All things considered, it's now a reasonable path to 275

Can you elaborate on the imbued steelsilk recipe now being reasonable? The current recipe for the Imbued Steelsilk Cloak that trivs at 275 requires 4 rubies and a plat ribbon, which is pretty pricey considering the 200 or so sell back. These recipes interest me greatly since I am a Erudite.

I can confirm that - they warp to -265, -885.

This should be fixed in the 6/13 patch (they will start wandering from the terrorantula)
