Hi all,
Coming back to the game after a two year break and after reading this post have a question--what do you mean about buying your way to 300 with AA?
Thanks,

Probably meant they used Tailoring Mastery AA plus whatever skill to get the same success rate as if they had skill 300 w/o the AA.-- Mewkus: 2100 dings on the server formerly known as Solusek Ro

I haven't failed any GM armor yet (6 attempts) and only failed one symbol (7 attempts). That is with 257 tailoring / 252 smithing, mastery 3 in both.

Well, checking out these boards today (long time user of the site, but never made it to the forum) turned out to be a good thing. Just made my GM Brambleborn Cuirass. It's too bad that wood elf tailors are so common that making the things for profit isn't really an option, but oh well...
