Because there is no cost associated with putting items up in Bazaar, people are perfectly content to put a ridiculous price on anything (but tradeskill items in particular) because they lose nothing if it doesn't sell.
The best tradeskill ones I've seen are the smithing combines with little/no resale value that is priced higher than the cost of an infernal scepter.
Anyone remember tradeskills in Ultima Online? You were charged some small percentage of the value of your inventory daily. So if you were overpriced and not selling anything, you actually lost money. Was an interesting concept.
and if you're going to add the "you killed my father" bit, you must also add "prepare to die!"
ps: i too pay too much in the bazaar for some things. depends on my level of desperation. i get stupid when i am on a mission. i made my first run through runic parchment solutions yesterday and paid some lucky duck 2000p per stack for 4 or 5 stacks of saltpeter, because i couldn't find my stash and i was already frustrated about running out of everything else and running BACK to corathus, then gating to buy more water, and running out of something else... LOL
For those of you not aware - the Sporali Faction is needed/linked to Bellfast. You need high amiable with him to get the missions for the Resist Clickie mask - so just suggest you figure out which one you want first.
I got mine - let those Shrooms fry - love Chicken Marsala muhahahahahah.
Last time I did #2 of the 69 spell mission arc (the mushroom collecting one), I got 4 or 5 I think. I can't comment on the drop rate of the ones outside missions because I haven't ever killed those.
I was incorrect - the factions you take a hit on are the sporali themselves and a plus hit on the creep reapers - nothing for the miners 328 (or watever) for bellfast. It took me like 5+ hours of killin them nonstop in trains to hurt my faction one level to indifferent - got over 40 skins.
Easiest way I found to get witheran bile was to spawn and kill "nested" witheran's from the coral fins and coral sails located in the Coral Bogs of Stoneroot. Just click /open and you will get one nested within each coral X.
They only have like 4-6k hp's so die quickly compared to the roaming witheran's, and only hit around 400-600.
You can also do a faction quest at the same time from Undershore - The Coral Bogs (Single). Get from NPC located near druid port in to Undershore - can't remember named atm but close to the banker.
