    I was thinking the imps dropped in lavastorm too.. then our guild poison maker mentioned that was ashroot, not ashweed.... then i remembered the goblines, but that was ashmag weed, not ashweed...

    I'll go clear the zone, and see what drops it. As for glow lichen on de guards, yeh... that'd be a swift move....

    and to Moonlilly.. MURDERER!! ASSASSIN!!.

      skilling up

      I think the comments above are a pretty fair indication that those of us hoping to skill up with robes are going to be wasting a ton of time trying to gather ingredients. Bah

        Some of my finds in foraging over the last two days (anything before that is biased by my warped sense of time)

        Lichenclover, my suggestion is don't forage this in Firiona Vie if you have the option, head over to field of bone, much more common in Field of Bone.

        Rough comparison using about 30 forage clicks

        Firiona Vie = no lichenclover
        Field of Bone = 4-5 lichenclover

        Do note that Lichenclover is NOT on the list (on this web site) in Field of Bone, but as I just foraged up 20 there last night, it is definitely foragable in that zone.

        ============

        Cauldron Prawn

        This is a pain, in about the same 30 clicks of forage I got maybe 1 Cauldron Prawn... and the only place I know of to forage it is in Dagnor's... probably time to start farming and see what stuff in the zone drops it and how often. This one was painful.

        ============

        Ashweed

        Someone above said that the fire imps drop Ashroot (poison component) and not Ashweed (foraged item we are discussing). I know this has been true in the past. Not sure what in the zone now drops Ashweed.

        Foraging-wise, in about 30 clicks I probably got 2-3 Ashweeds

        ============

        Now I am making no claims as to the consistency of these numbers for any given time frame, they are just rough examples. As a long-time forager of morning dew, I have my own silly theories about foraging and I will keep them to myself as I do not wish to be embaressed. ;-) Needless to say, your mileage will vary. I was 200 forage skill and had a Machete at the time of the above listed forages

        I was bopping around trying to find the higher levels forages for the purpose of skilling up tailoring, when I found that the highest level (Platinum Forestgreen?) High elf Ribbon was trivial at 187, I stopped foraging madly for the components.

            Spent some time in SF today. Steamfont Spring Water seems to only drop off Earth / Air Elementals, AND Minotaurs. The only thing I didn't kill enough of to say for sure were Kobolds.

              I've gotten steamfont water off just about everything in steamfont now, including the kobolds.

                i've seen seahorse roe drop off spiders, snakes and beetles in erud's crossing. not sure if its on bats too, as they drop vampire bat saliva which has the same icon. farming it wasnt too hard with the old solo pbae tactic (/kiss jyll's) the island doesnt have too many spawns that are easy to find but at least the respawn is quick. bamboo in stonebrunt might be a different matter though, going to try it on the kobold camps today.

                  In that case I would say its very rare on anything except elementals and minos.

                    I just leveled my new gnome mage in Steamfont. Musttinker got at least a stack Steamfont spring water while killing the Kobolds for their body parts.

                    My ranger also got 10+ while hunting clockworks for those Microservos (only 7 mircoservos) that was killing the spider clockworks only, and any Brownies, I came across, well on track

                      Today an ashweed dropped from a goblin in Lavastorm at the camp with Hykalen. It has the same graphic as evergreen leaf/tea leaf/yew leaf/etc (solid green leaf). Probably not very common but I wanted to update the info list.

                      Good luck

                        Ashweed drops most commonly from the goblins in the camp closest to Lavastorm, the one with the Eruidte standing in the middle.

                          I have had no trouble getting sea horse roe while lvling up my druid on Erud's Crossing. However, I took my 62 cleric to Stonebrunt and (sadly) murdered pandas for a good cause all morning until the rangers and druids showed up and out tracked me and took them all. In the three hours I slaughtered unmolested I didn't get one single bamboo shoot. I am so sad I had to kill those poor animals for naught. For the foraging types, any luck getting them with any regularity? I had a friend try for me and didn't get one during our hour long fishing party. I am ready for any suggestions at this point.

                            My Ranger spent about 2 hours in Dagnors yesterday. During that time I foraged 8 cauldron prawns. Interestingly, during the same period I foraged 7 vegetables. I noted this because I had used up all my vegetables (to skill up in Brewing by making Vodka).

                            I have yet to get prawns as loot from a mob in Dagnors, anyone want a hunting bow?

                            My point is that while the prawns (for example) are "rare" they actually don't seem that much rarer than anything else...

                            Now if only words of neglect could be foraged...

                              Piting, what level and Foraging skill is your Ranger? I was just wondering, since I just parked my Ranger there to do the very same thing.

                              Thanks,
