  • Forged drops for cultural robes???

Ok, only part im stuck at is the forging part. yeah, i cant forage...so i ask for help... no one will help. check bazaar, no one is selling what i need. So i know lava storm is where the ashweed is foraged (looked that up) but what about the cursed clover? i looked on the forged drop table and did not find it. please reply if you know where to get this, and any other hard to find forages.

    Search

Trying using the "Find (on this page)..." option in the Edit menu (assuming you are using Internet Exploder) - search for "Cursed Clover" and find it. It helps to do that with lots of information on the page.

      For the dark elves...

Cursed Clover: foraged in OT, drops off mobs (i can verify the cactus)
Asweed: foraged in Lavastorm. got none to drop via mob
Glow Lichen: foraged in Nek Forest. got none to drop via mob

None of them seem to be difficult forages though... a ranger passing through lava got one in 5 forages.. and my iksar monk got a glow lichen in about 15 mins of foraging. As i remember, my ranger used to get the cursed clovers fairly frequently in ot... luckily, i destroyed several stacks of it not that long ago ... :P

I've seen ashweed drop off the fire imps in Lavastorm. Didn't do enough killing to see if other mobs dropped it as well. It's not a high drop rate, just like the forage rate for these things can be low, but they are there ...

Glow lichen, ashweed, and cursed clover

Fortunately for my Dark Elven tailoring friend, I have a halfling druid who can forage for her.

However, it DOES seem very odd to me that DE cultural tailoring would require foraged-only items. No Dark Elven class can forage. In fact, this would REALLY tick me off if I lived on a PvP server -- the only evil race that can forage at all are Iksar. So this really puts DEs on PvP at the mercy of the bazaar.

I believe I have seen ashweed drop of goblins in Sol A but I always sold back that stuff so I am not entirely sure.

They're not forage only items now, they're also on the drop list of the mobs in that zone.

                Where is the drop list?

I looked on the drop lists here; what drop list are you talking about? Where can I find it?

I foraged about 4 lichenclover in FV this morning in a couple hours, annoyingly slow. I ran around killing assorted mobs during that time (minus the pilgrims) and didn't get any to drop.

The drop list of the mobs, as in what you get off them when you kill them.
Like morning dew drops off most/all creatures in LFay now, even if it's still rare, most of these forages also drop off creatures in that zone.

well after trying to forge w/ my iksar monk in lava storm i gave up after about 12 tries, but i havent gotten my necro in there to kill everything that moves yet  . asking a forager to forge gave me the reply "foraging if for food, if it's not food i cant find it" and knowing nothing of foraging i decided to try other things. since the expansion went live i've noticed new drops alot. So i took my Necro to OT, asking around i found that the succulents (catctus) drop the cursed clover, i found 2 in about a hour of just killing them and someone got me one. i need to auction to buy it now, but the lava storm drop is coming next. i have found glow lichen... i think? on the groud before. but i could be wrong. We need a list of mobs that drop the forages now...and i dont plan on killing my own guards, sure they are green to me and my pet..but i like my city and faction

Cursed Clover of Viesar: Succulents of OT drop
                          Ashweed:
                          Glow Lichen:

... ect. list here and i'll compile a list, just item, mob name and zone.

That's going to be an awfully long list, as I think they were added to most if not all mobs in the zones where they are also foraged.

And yes, foragers can forage any type of forage, not just food...at least as far as I know.

                              Foraging

If your forage is not over 100 your chances of getting any of the rare forage items is very slim -- or so I have been told.

The cursed clover definitely drops off succulents (cactus) in OT. My friend is killing them and has gotten clover off three types: barbed, thorny, and spiked. The drop rate seems to be a little better than foraging; she I have had my druid on (foraging 132) and she has gotten four and I have not gotten any.
