What's the easiest Lavaspinners quest?

Need to kill 120 spiders, has to be done in an instanced mission for my GM tailoring book. Tried one called infestation, was a bit too hard. Was wondering what mission some of you used to get this done?

actually on the collect has to come from an instanced..can get the kills from the basic whatever mission..theres one called lavaspinenrs locale that seems pretty common..have to kill other stuff besides spiders in that one but its pretty easy

I don't remember the name of the quest, I think it was like Lavaspinners Hunting. You are geographically limited to the spider area and you have to kill certain number of spiders and hatch certain number of eggs from hatch located throughout the zone. You attack the hatch and you recover the eggs. This is the mission I did to finish my DoN armor quest.

Same as Taushar. You could do this with slower/healer, tank & whatever. What I (we) did is crawl around and do the task, but leave the last main egg thing up. Then just camp in the hall to broodmother area or in the broodmother area and just pull everything there. When you are done, go kill the last egg and you are done. I think it is called Lavaspinner Hunting as well. If I find otherwise, I'll post.

I helped a friend run that mission -- pretty sure it was Lavaspinner Hunting too. He got about half his drops (starting from zero) in a single mission run -- though admittedly, we meandered a bit and killed more than was strictly necessary for the win.

That has to be a bug since all the other GM quests are from mobs that are in instanced zones.

The drops only drop in instanced zones. The kills can be done in any zone. This is true for all GM quests as far as I know. Unfortunately for some, the required mobs only spawn in certain zones (Stillmoon Creatures, for example (GM Vah Shir) requires mobs with "Stillmoon" in their name. They only spawn in Stillmoon. Still easy, though.)

Sorry, true on the kills. I meant more that I doubt they meant for it to be done on super duper green mobs in lavastorm (as opposed to the mostly green mobs in lavaspinners =D).

Ah, yes, I agree completely. I misread the original quote as "Lavaspinner's" instead of "Lavastorm". I would say that is DEFINITELY not intended.

You can kill the lavaspinners in Lavastorm for the 120 kills. But as you also need 80 arachnid eye clusters which only drop in lavaspinners instanced missions, it's rather pointless to run around wasting time killing the green ones. You'll get more than enough spider kills as you hunt for eye clusters.
