Ding 300 today on Xegony. After 260s I did the following combines roughly in the following order to skillup to 300: othmir fur armor(268-295), prepared sporali skin (276), night terror caps(295), master's chest symbols(304), cultural half elf armor(304-386), holgresh fur armor(268-322), chronal seals(302), bazu seals(342), discordant seals(322), firehide armor(335), various grandmaster's symbols(316-386).

Basically bought whatever I could get my hands on at reasonable prices, even some not so reasonable sometimes due to my impatience. After probably over 1 million plat spent and countless hours of my own farming during the course of a year, I'm done with tailoring and just have fletching left. Unlike the quote above, if they raise the caps again, I'm done with EQ! LOL. One of my skillups 293-294 took about 120 combines! Not going to go through that hell again unless Sony actually provides a reasonable skillup path. Tailoring is the most unreasonable of all, at least for half elves.

My cleric, Devas, hit 300 tailoring about a month or so ago - can't remember exactly when. If I get energetic I'll check logs. All I can say is - I am soooo happy to not have to be farming shissar scales anymore!!
