this is sort of on topic - the 6th shawl. What I am finding is that tailoring skillups are becoming more and more expensive. At this point I am at 149, ready to do one more stack of sleeves and hopefully get to 151. After that I think I will need 3-4 stacks of silk swatches for each stack of combines. Currently the best price on swatches I see is 10pp per, 200pp/stack so thats 600-800pp per stack of combines, not counting the other stuff I need. To make that kind of money takes me about 3 LDoN adventures...thats 2 evenings for me, 1 if I am lucky.
I almost think it is is more worth my time to just go get the siren hairs, and try the combine, then if I fail get more siren hairs and either farm or buy the other components (have some whiskers extra). I have no intent at this time to skill up more on tailoring if I can avoid it, need to getsmithing and jewellry upo for shawl 7 and that will be bad enough. Thank goodness my fletching and brewing are plenty high.
Update: last stack of sleeves went well, two skillups in 10 combines. I had enough of everything but silk to do 10 pants, got 10 more silks and two more skillups! Tailoring 153
