Phase spider silks

I haven't hunted in DN for a long time but I went there today after the patch hoping to get a PSC. After I killed a few spiders I got a phase spider silk (no drop) I searched around but couldn't find any info on it. I got a few more and decided to try combine them. I failed the first combine in a collapsible tailor kit at 167 skill. Then I tried again with a geerlok and succeeded and made a phase spider thread I think it was(no drop) it was not trival. Anyone know what this is for? Would love to get an answer

Could you post the Right-Click information for the Phase Spider Silk and the resulting product?

OK, added a basic 'Phase Spider Silk' and 'Phase Spider Silk Swatch' with a recipe, and a source for the Phase Spider Silk.

As for it's use... I don't have a clue.

k..It was Phase Spider thread..weights 0.4 and is no drop. both silks and thread aren't stackable..will see if I can get the pics up, Im not too good at this

OK, added the weight, and corrected the name to Phase Spider Silk Thread.

If you can't get a picture, a transcription of the attributes would work... Something like:

Just spent 4.5 hours farming these, 2/3 of that time with a 65 shammie friend helping out, for a total of 10 silks in those hours, plus 2 PSC's and 2 Bloods.

2 Phase Spider Silk(Del.S.Kit)=Phase Spider Silk Thread(as reported)
3 Phase Spider Silk(DSK)=DNC
4 Phase Spider Silk(DSK)=DNC

Skill at first attempt was 181(no geerlok), failed, no trivial message. Second attempt failed, received point to 182, no trivial message.

Saving my last 6 for after more skillups

**edit: am thinking spiders were changed, we got hit plenty and not once did we get SS'd.

if they changed them not to ss, it's going to be a farmers paradise.

that icon is what they use for one of the ikky necro quests.. the first or second one... hopefully this isn't for a quest, but a tradeskill item.

Though I have been around, and have seen a lot of things, I guess I am still a newb when it comes to some of the abbreviations that some people use. Would you mind enlightening me as to what zone DN is and what a PSC is?

I've been in DN for the past few hours hoping to collect some of this stuff. Out of 14 kills I got 5 of them (Plus a PSC ). Made two swatches, succeeded on both, not trivial at 187.

Still no idea what it is for, maybe some Skyshrine Quest?

Any of you tried to apply a Mask pattern to the resulting Phase Spider Thread?

I doubt it... but this was a suprising new recipe... and might be worth a try.

maybe it's part of the new Oracle quest /shrug. Pretty cool that the triv seems to be high, maybe I will go pharm some there
