Phase spider silks

Was able to combine at 172 skill.

Solo'ed for about an hour (had zone to myself) and walked away with 4 silks,

Cheap way to skill up but not worth the time IMO.

riddle em this. you're saying that the drops are low but its free. are the spiders able to e done solo by a 55 bst once the cycle is broekn? if it is might be a good palce for aa and tailoring

55 might be low but i would say give it a try for yourself.
As a 65 necro they were cake, hit for 120 max if i remember right. Was able to keep all spawnes clear up to gates ....aaxp was 1-3% per kill but mostly light blue. mob hp is around 5k roughly.

Unless a dragon construct happens to be up. They have a huge agro range. As soon as I zoned in I saw it in the distance behind the spiders and a second later it started moving towards me. I waited (in the exact spot I had zoned in on) just to make sure it wasn't wandering and nope, it came right at me.

I did the phase spider silk combine at 165 tailoring.

At level 65, all of the spiders I conned were Dark blue, novel, did you con the spiders after the patch that extended the range of dark blue con mobs?

Stupid traps.... High agro, high dps, summon. Stay off the bones, unless someone has already set them off..... either you must kill them, or you can't hunt at ZI.

Oh. Forgot to add...

The dragon constructs are belly casters. You have to be within their melee range or your spells will be resisted.

ok sounds liek 55 is too low to solo even with spirit of snow. so what lvl partner should i ahve in order to doit safely?

My 55 druid can solo the spiders, but it's slow. I add a 59 necro to the mix and we have very little down time. But the PSC is all so elusive to us

I have hunted the spiders a fair number of times, have yet to ever see a PSC drop. Fortunately, I am interested in the tailoring skillups, so, it's not a total loss. XP is fairly marginal at level 65.

i onyl plan to get enough silk to make 52 skillups so i'll be able to get some decent aa exp. so what lvl aprtner do i need?
