      New needle?

      Just a thought:

Embroidering Needle = water flask + metal bits + celestial essence + needle mold

Sewing Needle = water flask + metal bits + needle mold ???

I'd try it, but I'm at work now

off work now thought I'd try a few

water flask + metal bits + needle mold = DNC
water flask + 2 metal bits + needle mold = DNC
water flask + 3 metal bits + needle mold = DNC
water flask + metal bits + thimble mold = DNC
water flask + 2 metal bits + thimble mold = DNC
water flask + 3 metal bits + thimble mold = DNC
water flask + 2 metal bits + needle mold + thimble mold = DNC
water flask + 3 metal bits + needle mold + thimble mold = DNC

What about trying it with the temper that comes from that dungeon, as a curing agent of sorts?

The other really in-nane thing they could have done is made it comparable to the leatherfoot haversack recipes.

3 Tuft of Dire Wolf Fur + Embroidery Needle - > Patch of Dire Wolf Fur

3 Patches of Dire Wolf Fur + Embroidery Needle -> Woven Dire Wolf Fur

X Woven Dire Wolf Fur + Acorn Oil + Infused Platinum Thread -> Leatherfoot XXX Sack/Bag/Pouch.

All done in a Vale Sewing Kit, being Halfling Cultural.

So toss in 2, 3, or 4 Lemming Furs into Kit with & without an Embroidery Needle (I see 2 has been tried).

Maybe Try using an Infused Platinum Thread with the recipe?

Or even trying as a Halfling in a Vale Sewing Kit?

Has anyone considered trying to make a different kind of needle?

I did the first and last suggestions. I didn't want to burn any BDs in the process.

I combined 2,3,4 lemming fur, with the needle in both a PoK loom, and a Vale Kit.

And I tried the original recipe in my Vale Kit.

Bah, I would have bet money on that one!

2 unstacked Lemming Fur + Backpack Pattern + Plat Thread + "New Sewing Needles" (From Wilimina's quest) = DNC.

Someone find out if this dev is the same guy who implemented the "Lewena's favourite drink" brewing quest

                        /sigh

I have 3 lemming furs, but the above DNC lists seem pretty thorough...

Edit: since lemming fur drops in Miragul's Menagerie, could there be clues in Halas? New needles or sewing kits for Barb tailoring maybe? Guesss I have something to check when I login tonite.

                                Ok, folks, here's the scoop.

This recipe is BUGGED until next Wednesday's patch.

Stop making yourselves berk over it, save those furs and threads and such, dig out an embroidery needle and stash it away, etc. There was a slight needle oops that can't be fixed on the live servers until then, but the basic recipe on the site is correct other than the needle issue.
