ok here's what i've tried to do so far.

velious fur tailoring....follwoed the same patterns wiht the vials of mana and the threads for each tpye of leather pattern to no avail.

bags....tried all the recipies on old world and luclin for bags and containers. no luck there either

gnoll patch type....jsut tried combining with itself to no avail.


anybody think of any other pattern i've missed?

don't forget poison vials. i doubt it would work (I tried these with the torment dropped hides, too, by the way), but always worth a shot.

Do a search on the site now for a lemming recipe {grins} ... just added it about half an hour ago, it's yet to be verified by the playerbase.

Just tried the recipe and got a will not combine message. I used 2 unstacked lemming fur, embroidery needle, backpack pattern, platinum thread. Tried several different combinations in tannan loom and regular sewing kit. The embroidery needle is the same one I use to make solstice robes with. The platinum thread was bought in Thurgadin at Frostbeard's shop that costs 209pp.

I'm infamous for napping in people's packs, and a dev stuffed me in a lemming fur one recently. After feeling how nice and comfy it was, I cajoled the recipe out of him. However, going back and re-reading things, he called it a 'sewing needle' instead of an embroidery needle. Going to have to get clarification on that one {sigh}. May not have a response until Monday, since it'll be hard to look things up from the Fan Faire, but I *will* get us a confirmed recipe as soon as able. Sorry for not catching that sooner. {gibbers}

tanaan needle then.
and then in a coldan kit, with both needles.
and then try some loy racial needles...
and then try making a racial needle out of frost temper (since the fur is from miraguls too)
and then try making a racial needle out of all the other tempers

Anyone try it without the Needle? I ask because to make a Sewing kit you use a needle and Thimble mold... The GM may have been eluding to that.

The idea of a new sewing needle (a la the LoY racial needles) is tempting. Alternatively there could be a tannin/curing agent left out of the recipe. *shrug*

I assume it drops in CT, but doing a quick search on Lucy showed that it was one of the few items withe the word Sewing in the name, except the kits.

Tried a few combines with gold and silver thread, just in case. Nothing. I did combines with and without embroidering needle, with 2-5 furs, all with 1 backpack pattern. I did try 2 silver threads and 1 fur in case the numbers were wrong, but DNC either.
