I probably made a few mistakes.
I was trying to get wolves in south. But as it turned out, the wolf attack that came came when owls were down to south only. So, I burn the defenders all down, and nw wolves own entire zone.
I have uninteruptted wolf farming for a good long while. I take a sell break, come back, farm more. I was alone in Hollowshade when I come back from selling.
At some point, other people enter the zone, and kill the dog in the cat camp, causing war to reset. I figured that they were just looking fer drops, so I proceed to kill grimling chief to try and get mah dogs back. after the chief, bodyguards, and defenders are dead and owlbears are on the way, I ask the killers if it was worth killing the named and resetting the zone. they said they needed grimlings up, so I warned them they had less than 10 minutes to save their grimlings.
They complained that I had already begun shaping the war, and I said well, they didn't consult me before killing da boss dog. The grimlings died and they left-- I don't know if they even tried to save the grims.
But at any rate, I wonder what your thoughts are on all this. Is there any established etiquette for the war?
