  • From the patch message: Saltwater Seaweed stacks!

    /dance

Life is good,I don't have to have half my bank space full of seaweeds.

    More room for seafoam!

Saltwater seaweed is now stackable. Makes storing stuff to make sea tempers for field plate a lot easier.

        I saw it too. WEEEEE!!!

You know, when they were No Drop and unstackable, I wondered which would be better ... dropable or stackable. My conclusion right now is that dropable isn't doing much for me (bought only a few so far in the Bazaar, usually just fish them myself), but stackable would go a long way.

Now we have both! /swoon ... time for some die-hard fishing

Edit: The patch message has been posted in the General section of this forum.

I have yet to need seaweed, but any time I see something has been made stackable I feel its well worth celebrating. Now if we could just get ceramic lining for pottery to stack, life would be really good.

Oh, thank you lord... saves me a lot of running back and forth to brew.

Of course, it would be even BETTER if I got more than 4 an hour while fishing

Having done a LOT of fishing for my tailoring, I can tell you that 20 stacks of bait got me about 2 1/2 stacks of cod in CS.

You bet I intend to see how many seaweed I get from the same amount! It does seem to be a lot less common.

I also agree with Kaysha, I'd much rather have had it stackable than droppable - but both is fine with me

Late is better than never, I suppose. I never really found the no-stacking seaweed that much of a pain, more of an annoyance, but I'm glad that SOE devs do seem to actually listen.

Of course, if I say that the sun is going to come up tomorrow doesn't mean that I have the power to command celestial bodies. This change could have been implemented over a year ago, and should have.

Still, grats to all the human smiths working on field plate. =) Watch out for the Cycs.

I sent a 4 paragraph feedback on this on Saturday making several points about its absurdity and inconvenience in its non-stackable state. They really do read feedbacks and they read them QUICK. I'm sure many have been sent but the timing is just too perfect. Makes it easier on all of us. =)

Use /feedback for similiar things like this, but be sure to make a case don't just say 'plz make xx stack so my smithing is easier plz'.

This was exceptionally great timing for me!

I had just run a contest on my server giving away big prizes for the person who brings me the most seaweed - and I was prepared to make a THIRD mule tonight to hold it all. That's on top of the 12 stacks of temper I made before I ran out of sea foam.

Marcin, what ritual did you do before sending to the dev team? I've posted about once a month for the past year or so about this. I kept trying my "get the Dev team to do what I want" dance before hitting POST. All I ended up with was unseasonal amounts of rain in normally arid regions.....

Alternatively maybe a Dev member will see my repeated /feedbacks on letting Barbarian Smiths create Rallos Zek armor..... <mutter>
