Anyone have any idea if Froggy's will have their own cultural armor and if they will be able to wear dwarven armor or not?

I'm hopeing Human Heraldic armor, for the Mith Marr Frog Pallys and such. With MMarr being the only god the Frogs can worship does that mean there is going to be MMarr Shammys and Wizs? That would be...odd. But I want to see Full Luminant Heraldic Plate on my Froggy Pally. With the Imbued Dimamond Rings, just have him ALL pimped out...

What? It's not like I can get a Froggy Pally up to even the high 30's to make the armor any good to wear without a lot of work. And besides, it was a joke, I have my main that's 51 and my next highest is my Sham at 21. It takes me a LONG time to level Chars, no matter the class. I was just saying I hope Frogs get to wear Human, I want to see that.

Besides, Vah Shir still need a culture...

And, before the Half Elves read this, it's already been established that they are the "mutts" of the elven races, so dont start <img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/sinuuyanea/dcrazz.gif" alt="No offense to any mutts reading this post...">

Personally I really hope that they have their own smithing, and can't wear human smith armour.

I'd like the challenge of GMing a Frog smith, without having to compete with humans

After seeing a few frogs hop by me on test, i highy doubt they will be able to wear the human cultural, They are shorter then Gnomes!

i would like then to have ther own cultural. maybe made from bronzed lilypads

                Heraldic Lily-pad Armor.

Now that would inspire fear in all who saw it!!

According to the blurb at http://everquest.station.sony.com/legacy/f_froglok.jsp they wear small and medium armor, just like half elves. So I'd expect human to fit.

That's you - even with all of the bugs and server crashes we'll see, smart plat says that people will start seeing high 30s frogs within 48 hours of first log in post LoY.

Giving frogs cultural smithed armor will probobly be pointless though - can't imagine anyone getting a frog smith to post 200 in less than a few months at best unless they give them a REALLY easy stepping stone recipe or have some easy to do mid-range cultural armor (which of course will cause general rioting on this board and the PS room).

No more EQ for me till they fix the crash bug.

Actually, half elves can only wear medium. Frogloks would be more akin to pure elves (dark, high, and wood) who can wear small or medium. But none of those generally can wear heraldic. Heck, even erudites can't wear heraldic and they came from humans.

I tend to agree with Cigarskunk, except that if frogs get cultural armor, you will see 200+ frogie smiths inside of 3 months, the first 230+ frogy smith will make a BUTT-TON of plat if their cultural is any good. ornate-->FS --> anything you can get your hands on --> hammer of ironfrost

there were level 50+ Vah Shir running around before christmas, and the servers spent more time down than up between December 4 2001 and Jan 4 2002.

underfoot armor is large sized and half-elves are on it.

dwarven armor is small sized, not large. The size listed in the descritption (right-click info) is always what size container it can fit into, not what size armor it is.

In game reasoning behind half-elves being able to fit into it. It's magical, and can therefore stretch or shrink a little.

OOC reasoning. Halfelfs don't have their own culture, so they work their ways into the cultures of the other races.

Nah, it'll be cultural tailoring, shin armor.

As for level 30, I'm betting we see the first one within 24 hours. 60th within a week.
